  • Patent number: 10148014
Abstract: Described herein are technologies that facilitate wireless communication with highly-isolated, dual-port antenna system. More particularly, an example antenna system that implements the technology includes a complementary pair of physically co-located antennas for signal transmission and/or reception. More particularly still, an example implementation of the disclosed technology is an antenna system that utilizes a monopole antenna symmetrically and physically co-located with a slot antenna in a shared antenna plane with a simple feed structure.

  • Publication number: 20180140032
Abstract: A wig clip having a set of comb teeth movable into and out of engagement with a clamping member on a frame is provided with a layer of fusible solid material on the frame in a quantity sufficient to enable the wig clip to be secured to the net material of a wig base by the application of heat to the layer of solid material. The application of heat causes the solid material to melt so that, when the wig clip is brought into contact with the net material, the fusible material flows through apertures of the net material, and then resolidifies, the wig clip is securely attached to the net material. The preferred fusible solid material is ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.

  • Patent number: 9941598
Abstract: Described herein are technologies related to an in-band full-duplex wireless communication operation. More particularly, the technologies utilize a complementary pair of antennas for signal transmission and reception arranged in a new manner to be both compact (relatively to conventional approaches) and provide an extremely high (e.g., 60 dB or more) isolation.

  • Publication number: 20180077985
Abstract: A wig base is provided with one or more wig clip assemblies, each comprising two or more wig clips. Each of the wig clips comprises a set of comb teeth movable by a toggle action alternatively toward and away from a connecting part for gripping a lock of a wearer's natural hair. The wig clips of each wig clip assembly are connected by a connecting member and preferably rotatable relative to the connecting member. The connecting of the two wig clips to each other helps to ensure that the a given wig clip remains in place even if it becomes fully or partially disengaged from the wearer's natural hair. Rotation of the wig clips relative to the connecting member ensures that the connection does not interfere with the wearer's comfort.

  • Publication number: 20180077986
Abstract: In a wig clip in which comb teeth are movable from a first condition in which they are spaced from an elongated clamping member to a second condition in which they are capable of clamping a user's natural hair against the clamping member, an intermediate portions of each of the comb teeth has opposite edges which are in oblique relationship to the direction of elongation of the clamping member. These opposite edges are spaced from each other by a distance greater than the width of each of the other portions of the same comb tooth.

  • Publication number: 20170290385
Abstract: A wig base comprises a sheet of material having a dome shape with a peak, a border defining a bottom opening, and an anterior portion comprising net material. A reinforcement, for a gap that can be formed in a selected area of the net material adjacent the bottom opening, is provided by one of a plurality of strips of fabric each of which has a pair of opposite ends spaced from each other and located adjacent the border of the sheet, and a U-shaped intermediate portion connecting one of the ends to the other and extending from the border toward the peak. A wearer's natural hair can be passed through a gap and blended with hair woven to the net material of wig base. The reinforcement maintains the integrity of the wig base.

  • Publication number: 20170156428
Abstract: A wig clip has comb teeth movable in and out of contact with an elongated part of a wig clip frame. Each of the comb teeth is fitted with an elastomeric sleeve. The elastomeric sleeves on the comb teeth cooperate with an elastomeric sleeve of the elongated frame part to grip a user's natural hair frictionally and thereby resist slippage of the wig clip relative to the user's natural hair and hold a wig base to which the wig clip is attached firmly in place on the user's head.

  • Patent number: 9452666
Abstract: A cushioning assembly includes a vehicle that has at least two doors. A first shield apparatus and a second shield apparatus are each coupled to the vehicle. The first shield apparatus and the second shield apparatus are positionable to cover the doors. The first shield apparatus and the second shield apparatus shield the doors from impact damage. A pump is coupled to the vehicle. The pump is in fluid communication with the first shield apparatus and the second shield apparatus. The pump selectively inflates and deflates the first shield apparatus and the second shield apparatus. A control is provided for selectively actuating and de-actuating the pump.

  • Publication number: 20150128979
Abstract: In a wig cap of flexible netting fabric formed in the shape of a human cranium, a strip of elastomeric material attached to the interior surface of the netting fabric adjacent the anterior portion of its border, resists slippage of the wig cap by frictional engagement with the wearer's forehead. In an alternative embodiment comb-shaped clips attached to the interior surface of the netting fabric adjacent the anterior portion of its border engage the wearer's natural hair to resist slippage.

  • Publication number: 20050085632
Abstract: Methods for sequentially removing isoflavones and phytates from an active surface by utilizing an aqueous medium for isoflavone removal and an aqueous medium for phytate removal. The aqueous medium for isoflavone removal contains at least one alcohol and at least one acid. The aqueous medium for phytate removal is either a relatively stronger acidic solution, a basic solution, or with some active surfaces may be an aqueous solution of pH 2-7, which is essentially free of alcohol and organic solvents. The use of the methods disclosed allows sequential isolation of isoflavones and phytates, compounds which may then be utilized in various foods for human consumption.
