  • Publication number: 20210022370
Abstract: Compositions comprising feedstocks with high oleic acid content for ruminant feed, calcium soaps of the feedstocks, and methods of preparing ruminant feed and its use to increase fatty acid digestibility, increase milk production, increase milk fat, or increase body fat deposition in cows are presented. The high oleic acid feedstocks include from about 50 wt % to about 70 wt % oleic acid; no more than about 25 wt % polyunsaturated fatty acids; and unsaturated fatty acids, wherein less than about 20% of the fatty acids are present as a glyceride.

  • Publication number: 20100216086
Abstract: There is disclosed an intra-oral video imaging camera for viewing and recording the interior of the oral cavity, the intra-oral video imaging camera having a rotating optic head member allowing the user to preset the camera imaging prism from a vertical, bottom dead center position in a nominal arc 160 degrees to either the left or the right of bottom dead center, thus obviating the need for the user to manipulate the user's hand and/or wrist in order to obtain the desired image.

  • Publication number: 20090053357
Abstract: This application is directed to a corn-based feed component formed from a combination of corn components. The feed components described herein generally include at least about 75 percent by weight of a combination of corn components. Generally, the corn components of the feed products are low in starch as compared to whole kernel corn, and are thus somewhat enriched in bran and germ (as determined, for example, on a dry mass basis). Typically, such feed components have a glycemic response comparable to that of rolled oats, thereby providing a source of energy that is safer than corn, and equally as safe as oats and high fat rice bran.

  • Publication number: 20080017539
Abstract: There are disclosed by a process and apparatus for positioning and sealing photostimuable phosphor imaging plates within barriers envelope blanks therefore and formed on a roll thereof wherein a barrier envelope blank including a U-shaped heat sealed portion thereof of such roll is indexed to a positioning station whereat the barrier envelope blank is caused to be opened at a free end thereof thereby permitting insertion of a restored imaging plate into such barrier envelope whereupon the barrier envelope including restored imaging plate is indexed to a station whereat heat sealing of the free end of the U-shaped heat sealed is effected to thereby enclose the restored imaging plate therein and thereafter the thus heat sealed barrier envelope is indexed to a product station for removal from the roll of barrier envelope blanks.

  • Publication number: 20060017361
Abstract: A hinge conduit casing is provided for protecting and concealing service conduits passing from a refrigerator frame to a door mounted pivotally thereto. The casing comprises a pocket and an angular guide slidably engageable into the pocket. The pocket is affixed to the frame and the angular guide is mounted to the door. The angular guide has a pivot end mounted pivotally to the door and a receiving end insertable into the pocket. When the door is opened at an angle relative to the frame, the receiving end of the angular guide remains, at least in part, in the pocket to conceal and protect the service conduits passing therethrough.

  • Publication number: 20060017360
Abstract: A multi-component fascia assembly for refrigerator storage assemblies is provided. The fascia generally includes a face plate having a pair of end caps attached to the ends thereof. The fascia assembly can be attached to a support member to form a storage unit for a refrigerator. A refrigerator comprising a storage assembly having a multi-component fascia assembly also is provided. Additionally, a method of making a refrigerator storage assembly is provided and includes extruding an intermediate extrusion and cutting it to a predetermined length to form a face plate. The method also encompasses attaching end caps to the face plate to form a fascia which then can be attached to a support member to form a storage unit. One or more storage units can be formed and combined to create a refrigerator storage assembly.
