  • Publication number: 20150017658
Abstract: A kit includes a reference probe to react with a first sample; and an analyte probe to combine with a second sample, a marker and a spectral probe to react to form the analyte probe to combine with the second sample, the marker to react with the reference probe to form the analyte probe to combine with the second sample, or a combination thereof. A process for staining includes forming a reference composition by reacting a reference probe and a first sample to form a reference; and forming an analyte composition by combining an analyte probe and a second sample to form an analyte.

  • Patent number: 8458937
Abstract: A banner stand having an upright display mode and a collapsed transport mode, the banner stand comprising a banner presenting graphics thereon, a base and a post extending upwardly from the base, a support member selectively operably coupleable with the post to support the banner in an upright display mode, feet selectively changeable from a transport position to a operative position have an exposed alignment surface that cooperates with another such alignment surface on an adjacent banner stand to angularly and positionally control the respective banner stands to position as desired the respective banners. Tops of the banner stands may be coupled, such as by magnets, to further support and control the spacing and positioning of the banners.

  • Patent number: 7882652
Abstract: A banner stand including a banner presenting graphics thereon, a base and a post operably coupled to the base and extending upwardly therefrom, and a support member operably coupleable with the post to support the banner in an upright display mode and to convert the banner to a curved configuration, wherein when the banner is the upright curved display mode, the banner includes a banner axis along a length thereof, the banner axis in a first position at an angle relative to an absolute vertical, wherein the angle is greater than zero degrees. The banner stand can further include an adjuster presented with the base and configured to enable adjustment of the post, such that the banner axis is effected to a second position, wherein the angle is substantially equal to zero degrees with respect to absolute vertical.

  • Patent number: 7337567
Abstract: A retractable banner stand has a banner, a support base, a mast, a retracting mechanism, and a means for imparting a curvature in the horizontal plane on the banner. Typically a cross member will be provided for supporting the banner in an extended upright position and typically the base will be a housing that included the retracting mechanism. The means for imparting a curvature may comprise a pair of elongate forms each with a banner engaging area that has a curved surface. The elongate forms can be resiliently flexible to repeatably provide and release the curved surface upon set-up and take-down. Various means for holding the resiliently flexible form in place include hinged spacers, slidable spacers, hinged form, or slidable form connected to the base. Alternatively, the curved surface may be rigid and insertable into engagement with the banner.
