  • Patent number: 11977440
Abstract: A system includes an on-board electronic device of an autonomous vehicle, and a computer-readable medium having one or more programming instructions. The system receives one or more forecast messages pertaining to a track, where each of the forecast messages includes a unique identifier associated with the track, and receives one or more inference messages pertaining to the track, where each of the inference messages includes the unique identifier. The system aggregates the one or more forecast messages and the one or more inference messages to generate a message set, and applies a set of processing operations to the message set to generate a feedback message. The system identifies one or more events from the feedback message, automatically generates an annotation for one or more of the events that is identified, and embeds the generated annotations in an event log for the autonomous vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11978125
Abstract: A system and method for rules-driven adjudication is disclosed. The system includes a storage includes a rule library having a plurality of rules, each rule being in a human-readable format and including a first data tag, a comparator, a comparison value, and a result. The system also includes a rules manager configured to receive and store a new rule. The system includes a rules evaluator configured to receive an adjudication request having a data object associated with a data tag, and evaluate the request and create a primary determination by applying a first rule to the request, and further applying a first subsequent rule and all logically adjacent rules until all logically adjacent rules have been exhausted and the primary determination is an indefinite outcome or the applying of a final rule returns an outcome that becomes the primary determination.

  • Patent number: 11974792
Abstract: Methods for correction of spinal deformities using bone anchors having one or more features configured to actively draw in and/or compact vertebral bone into an inner chamber. In some implementations, a first bone anchor having an inner chamber may be advanced into a first vertebral body of a spinal column. One of more features of the inner chamber may, as the first bone anchor is rotatably or otherwise advanced, actively draw and compact vertebral bone into the inner chamber. A second bone anchor may be advanced into a second vertebral body of the spinal column, after which a tether may be coupled between the first and second bone anchors to apply a corrective force to at least a portion of the spinal column.

  • Publication number: 20240146982
Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to deliver media content. A packager receives an original encrypted transport stream, and segments the stream into multiple fixed-duration transport stream files (chunks). The packager further generates a manifest file that describes the chunks and is consistent with a hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) live streaming (HLS) protocol. The manifest file and chunks are delivered to a content delivery network (CDN). An enhanced HLS client is embed in an integrated receiver decoder (IRD). The enhanced HLS client retrieves the manifest file and the chunks from the CDN, and reconstructs the original encrypted transport stream for use by a service provider network.

  • Publication number: 20240145066
Abstract: Aspects relate to systems and methods for providing information about a person's physiological signals to that person (and/or others) as they travel through various venues of their daily work and play life. Ubiquitous physiological feedback incentivizes the person to regulate their cognitive and/or emotional states to better perform various tasks. The feedback also provides them with practice opportunities throughout their day to further develop a psychophysiological self-regulation skill set. Obtaining pervasive physiological feedback throughout the environment may be achieved through the person's use and/or interaction with wearable or otherwise mobile physiological monitoring devices or systems and with other systems that may be embedded in environments through which the traveler visits during the course of their day. Such systems may experience functionality changes in response to an individual's physiological signals via biocybernetic adaptation.
