  • Patent number: 11357461
Abstract: An imaging device for obtaining 360-degree images of an anatomical feature of a patient or of another object includes an open ring having a first end, a second end, and an axis, the open ring defining an outer arc and an inner arc; a support arm configured to support the open ring and to rotate the open ring about the axis; a track extending along the open ring; a source movably disposed on the track and operable to generate signals useful for imaging; and a detector movably disposed on the track, the detector operable to detect signals generated by the source. Movement of the source and detector along the track, coupled with rotation of the open ring about the axis, enables the source and detector to travel at least 360 degrees about the axis.

  • Patent number: 11362063
Abstract: A semiconductor device is disclosed including a wire bonded die stack where the bond wires skip dies in the die stack to provide bond wires having a long length. In one example, the semiconductor dies are stacked on top of each other with offsets along two orthogonal axes so that the dies include odd numbered dies interspersed and staggered with respect to even numbered dies only one of the axes. Wire bonds may be formed between the odd numbered dies, skipping the even numbered dies, and wire bonds may be formed between the even numbered dies, skipping the odd numbered dies. The long length of the bond wires increases an inductance of the wire bonds relative to parasitic capacitance of the semiconductor dies, thereby increasing signal path bandwidth of the semiconductor device.

  • Publication number: 20220181513
Abstract: A hybrid growth method for III-nitride tunnel junction devices uses metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) to grow one or more light-emitting or light-absorbing structures and ammonia-assisted or plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) to grow one or more tunnel junctions. Unlike p-type gallium nitride (p-GaN) grown by MOCVD, p-GaN grown by MBE is conductive as grown, which allows for its use in a tunnel junction. Moreover, the doping limits of MBE materials are higher than MOCVD materials. The tunnel junctions can be used to incorporate multiple active regions into a single device. In addition, n-type GaN (n-GaN) can be used as a current spreading layer on both sides of the device, eliminating the need for a transparent conductive oxide (TCO) layer or a silver (Au) mirror.

  • Publication number: 20220178526
Abstract: Systems and methods for modifying a municipal fixture to affix endpoint devices, provide a power to such devices, and managing network traffic between and among such devices, including managing upstream transmission and efficiently propagating desired state changes through the network. The systems and methods described herein generally use a plurality of mesh radio transmitters which are configured for peer-to-peer data exchange to propagate system state changes to one or more uplink gateways. The gateways may then aggregate this data and transmit it over a wide area network to a server or server farm for processing, analysis, and other use. That data may also be viewed in real time by user devices, and instructions and commands may also be relayed to the individual IoT devices in the mesh network via such user devices.
