  • Publication number: 20100188851
Abstract: A lighting fixture retrofit comprised of a reflector, light bulb receptacles, receptacle covers and a device for attachment to pre existing light fixtures.

  • Patent number: 7162830
Abstract: A new line attachment which is easily removed and attached to a fishing line. The attachment body features a longitudinal bore and slot through which a bushing and fishing line can be inserted. The bushing also features a longitudinal bore and slot through which a fishing line can be fed. The longitudinal bore and slot in the bushing also enable the bushing to be compressed to fit securely into the body of the attachment body, thereby preventing the attachment body and bushing assembly from becoming unintentionally separated from the fishing line. The preferred embodiment of the invention further comprises a rib on the outside surface of the bushing that prevents rotational movement of the bushing vis-à-vis the attachment body.

  • Publication number: 20040107626
Abstract: A fish attractant slug which can be easily placed on a fishing line in close proximity to a bait. The slug includes a center bore and an outside surface. The outside surface preferably opens into a spiral groove which connects with the center bore. In order to install the device, the user wraps the fishing line around the spiral groove, then pulls it taut. The tension placed on the fishing line pulls the line inward until it rests within the center bore. In use, the attractant slug slowly dissolves to release the fish attractant it contains. The installation method allows a user to place an attractant slug on the fishing line without untying the bait.

The installation method means that a replacement attractant slug can be placed on the fishing line without untying the bait.

  • Patent number: 5865656
Abstract: A small, lightweight, reusable marker buoy is provided for marking a selected location on a body of water. The marker buoy has a buoyant float formed with an upwardly open well within which is mounted a rotatable anchor line spool. A conduit directs anchor line from the spool, through the float body, and out the bottom of the float where it is attached to a weighted anchor. A spring biased friction plate within the well provides resistance to rotation of the spool and a nut that secures the spool on an upwardly projecting spindle can be tightened to press the spool against the friction plate with a predetermined force to provide a preselected resistance to rotation of the spool and thus a preselected tension on the anchor line. In use, the resistance is set to allow the weighted anchor to draw anchor line from the spool as the anchor sinks but to resist further deployment of anchor line from the spool due to wave and wind action after the anchor has fully deployed.
