  • Publication number: 20120054491
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for re-authentication in client-server communications are described herein. A composite key is constructed by cryptographic hashing of a master key and a user key. A payload is constructed using a user identifier and a validity parameter. The payload is then encrypted using the composite key. A token is constructed by combining the encrypted payload, the user identifier, and a master key identifier. The constructed token is transmitted to the client system. To establish a subsequent session, the token is received at the server from the client system for re-authentication. The server validates the received token and establishes the subsequent session if the token is validated.

  • Patent number: 7735749
Abstract: A fountain (50) comprises a supply of water under pressure, a primary fluidic diverter (10) having an input (12) for said supply, and first and second outputs (16a, b) diverging from said input. Two control ports (20a, b) are provided with control flow to direct input flow to one or other of the two outputs that lead to the two inputs of a vortex amplifier (40). This comprises a vortex chamber (54), a radial port (50), a vortex inducing port (60) and an axial output port (58). One (16a) of the diverter outputs is connected to the vortex inducing port, the other (16b) to the radial port, so that supply to said axial output port is modulated by formation of a vortex in the chamber when flow is to the vortex inducing port. The axial port leads to a nozzle whereby a vortex spray or axial jet is produced, depending on which diverter output (16a, b) is active. A wind detector (100) has a vertical jet (102) and a catcher (104) which fails to catch water from the jet in high wind conditions.

  • Patent number: 7173016
Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for prevention and clinical treatment of various forms of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) by using inhibitors of adenosine deaminase (ADA). In particular, various formulations and dosing regimens of ADA inhibitors such as pentostatin are provided for the treatment of all forms of GVHD, especially steroid-refractory acute and chronic GVHD.

  • Patent number: 7037900
Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for prevention and clinical treatment of various forms of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) by using inhibitors of adenosine deaminase (ADA). In particular, various formulations and dosing regimens of ADA inhibitors such as pentostatin are provided for the treatment of humans in vivo as well as for ex vivo conditioning of organ transplants in order to specifically suppress T-lymphocyte mediated immune responses while minimizing systemic toxicity of the drug.

  • Publication number: 20050050967
Abstract: An access fitting has a housing with a base and a cap located respectively on interior and exterior sides of the wall of a gas sampling bag. The base and cap are provided respectively with inner and outer ports aligned with an opening in the bag wall to provide a through passageway communicating with the interior of the bag. A septum is interposed between the cap and the exterior side of the bag wall. The septum has a hole therein and is slidably adjustable between an open position at which its hole is aligned with the through passageway, and a closed position at which its hole is removed from the through passageway and the through passageway is blocked by an imperforate segment of the septum. A tubular connector is received in the outer port, and is axially adjustable between an advanced position frictionally resisting sliding adjustment of the septum, and a retracted position accommodating such adjustment.

  • Publication number: 20050044529
Abstract: A task library comprising task data for a plurality of components installed on a computer system is provided. The task library includes task data for a plurality of components installed on a computer system. The task links, that reference task data elements, are generated and stored with the task library. The task links are generated according to predetermined schemas associated with the task library. Task data elements may be configured such that the installed component corresponding to the task data may be manipulated/configured from within the context of the task library. The components installed on the computer may be hardware or software components. Installed components may include modules that are “installed” on the computer though they are located remote to the computer.
