  • Patent number: 11231056
Abstract: A mounting system includes a male portion and a female portion, each for attaching to one of two different objects (e.g. devices, accessories, walls). In one embodiment, each of the portions are produced entirely by one-piece injection molding. The male portion is substantially planar and has concave indentation or detent areas. The female section has a planar back side and inwardly facing walls on each side forming a channel. One or both sides has an extension member that is spring biased such that as the male portion is slid into the female portion, the extension member moves into the concave indentation or detent areas to hold the male member in the channel until sufficient force is exerted in an opposite direction to overcome the spring bias and slide the male section out of the channel of the female section.

  • Patent number: 9888103
Abstract: A stand for supporting a device such as a cellphone or tablet computer includes a body section for physically connecting to the device. The body section has one or more legs. The legs have at least two positions; a first position flush with the body section and a second position extended for supporting the device at an angle with respect to a surface on which the device and stand rest. A power input for connecting to a source of power is provided on the body. A device connector is electrically coupled to the power input and electrically connected to the device, thereby providing electrical power to the device. A docking port is formed in the body section. The docking port accepts and holds a peripheral device and has a docking port connector for providing power to the peripheral device.

  • Patent number: 9296011
Abstract: An interventional device for delivery of beneficial agent to a lumen and methods of loading and manufacture of the same, which include a prosthesis loaded with beneficial agent to provide a controlled dosage concentration of beneficial agent to the lumen. The beneficial agent is loaded onto the prosthesis by a fluid-dispenser having a dispensing element capable of dispensing the beneficial agent in discrete droplets, each droplet having a controlled trajectory. The interventional device has a controlled local areal density of beneficial agent for systemic delivery or delivery to the luminal wall. The local areal density of beneficial agent may be varied along the prosthesis. The interventional device includes overlapping or bifurcated stents having a controlled areal density of beneficial agent.

  • Publication number: 20080003254
Abstract: A drug-eluting endoprosthesis is configured for inhibiting restenosis and thrombosis, and for promoting healing of a lesion in a body of a subject. Such an endoprosthesis includes at least a supporting structure and a therapeutically effective amount of the rapamycin analog is disposed thereon. The therapeutically effective amount of the rapamycin analog allows for the rapamycin analog to elute from the supporting structure so as to obtain a concentration of the rapamycin analog that is sufficient for inhibiting restenosis and/or inhibiting thrombosis. Also, the therapeutically effective amount of rapamycin analog is substantially devoid of inhibiting cell migration such that migrating cells promote healing of the lesion.

  • Publication number: 20080004694
Abstract: A drug-eluting endoprosthesis is configured for inhibiting restenosis and thrombosis, and for promoting healing of a lesion in a body of a subject. Such an endoprosthesis includes at least a supporting structure and a therapeutically effective amount of dexamethasone is disposed thereon. The therapeutically effective amount of dexamethasone allows for the drug to elute from the supporting structure so as to obtain a concentration of dexamethasone that is sufficient for inhibiting restenosis and/or inhibiting thrombosis. Also, the therapeutically effective amount of dexamethasone is substantially devoid of inhibiting cell migration such that migrating cells promote healing of the lesion. Additionally, the therapeutically effective amount of dexamethasone induces cell migration such that migrating cells promote healing of the lesion.
