  • Patent number: 8647261
Abstract: A body cavity access tube assembly includes a body cavity access tube having an external surface. A collapsible protective sleeve is positioned over the external surface and has a proximal end attached to the body cavity access tube and a distal end attached to a repositioning device The repositioning device is supported on the external surface of the body cavity access tube and has a released configuration wherein the repositioning device and the distal end of the collapsible protective sleeve are movable relative to a longitudinal axis of the body cavity access tube. The repositioning device also has an engaged configuration wherein the repositioning device and the distal end of the collapsible protective sleeve have a fixed position relative to the longitudinal axis of the body cavity access tube.

  • Patent number: 5893053
Abstract: A method and apparatus for recording and playing back computer graphics data, including cursor movement data, and audio data which requires no X-Window command extensions. During recording, the command data stream to a display controller is intercepted, time stamped at regular intervals, and sent to and stored in a first file in a mass storage device. Cursor movement and operation data also is intercepted, time stamped and stored in a second file. During recording, display state data is generated and recorded into a third file at specified intervals. For playback, the system operator is presented with a graphic user interface resembling the control panel of a video cassette recorder. The system operator can play back the recorded information starting from a designated instant by operating the "buttons" on the control panel. For playback, the third file is read and forwarded to the display controller.

  • Patent number: 5748189
Abstract: A method and apparatus for using a single keyboard and/or mouse in multi-screen operation with a multiplicity of independent display apparatus. A keyboard and/or mouse is associated with a master work station to which is coupled a display apparatus. One or more other display apparatus are coupled to the same work station or to other work stations which are coupled to the main work station through a local area network or the like. Each display apparatus is driven by separate driver software, such as X-server software. A software construct running in the main work station defines transition boundaries between the various display devices and, as the mouse cursor reaches a transition boundary, it disappears from the first screen and appears on another screen. The keyboard follows the mouse such that its operation affects the screen and work station associated with the display upon which the mouse appears at that time.
