Patent number: 11961606Abstract: A system and method for processing a plurality of medical images using a plurality of clinical applications. A current study is received by a first server, the current study having first image series metadata. The first server can determine, based on several different techniques, that the current study is in progress. The system and method generates an assembled study set comprising the current study that is processed using a clinical application, the current study having a first series and a second series.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2019Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: BLACKFORD ANALYSIS LTD.Inventors: Robert John Tweedie, Paul Henderson, Keith Houston

Patent number: 9224229Abstract: A process of bringing first and second data sets into registration/conformity with each other. A plurality of candidate data sets are provided, each being a differently shifted or distorted form of a reference data set. Each of the first and second data sets and the reference data set being a representation of a particular physical object. The process compares respectively the first and second data sets with each of the candidate data sets and in dependence on the comparisons to determine respective first and second transformations that bring into registration or conformity with each other the reference data set and a particular candidate data set out of the plurality of candidate data sets which provides a best match with the respective first and second data sets, and brings the first and second data sets into registration/conformity with each other in dependence on the first and second transformations.Type: GrantFiled: November 23, 2011Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignee: BLACKFORD ANALYSIS LIMITEDInventors: Benjamin David Panter, Robert John Tweedie, Paul Henderson

Publication number: 20130308876Abstract: The present invention relates to a process of bringing first (30) and second (32) data sets into registration or conformity with each other by electronic methods. Each of the first and second data sets (30, 32) is a representation of a particular physical object. The process comprises having a plurality of candidate data sets, each candidate data set being a differently shifted or distorted form of a reference data set (34), the reference data set being a representation of the physical object. The process further comprises comparing the first data set (30) with each of the candidate data sets and in dependence on the comparisons determining a first transformation that brings the candidate data set, which of the plurality of candidate data sets provides a best match with the first data set, and the reference data set (34) into registration or conformity with each other.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 23, 2011Publication date: November 21, 2013Applicant: BLACKFORD ANALYSIS LIMITEDInventors: Benjamin David Panter, Robert John Tweedie, Paul Henderson

Patent number: 6068725Abstract: A method for installing and curing a cured in place lateral seal at the connection between a main pipeline and a lateral connection is provided. The method includes placing a resin impregnated lateral seal in the form of a top hat with a brim portion and short tubular portion onto a cylindrical flexible bladder cartridge having a tubular recess for receiving the tubular portion of the seal with the brim portion along the outer portion of the bladder, placing an assembly carrying the bladder to the location of the lateral and pressing the brim portion of the seal against the interior of the main pipeline and everting the tubular portion out of the tubular recess into a portion of the lateral to form the seal. Radiant energy, preferably, light is then applied to the resin to initiate the cure, the bladder is cooled and then deflated.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 1997Date of Patent: May 30, 2000Assignee: Insituform (Netherlands) B.V.Inventors: John Tweedie, Philip M. Patent number: 5915419Abstract: A cured in place lateral seal impregnated with a curable resin in the form of a "floppy top hat" for sealing the connection between an existing main conduit and a lateral connection is provided. The seal includes a brim portion bonded to a relatively short tubular section with the resin impregnable surfaces facing each other. The seal is formed by placing an annular ring about an opening in a template in the form of a pipe having a dimension and opening corresponding to the existing conduit and lateral, placing a tubular section of cured in place lining through the ring and the opening and bonding the tubular portion to the brim portion. The seal is impregnated with a resin by sealing the end of the tubular portion and then by placing the seal into a container with resin and drawing a vacuum to wet out the impregnable layer.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 1997Date of Patent: June 29, 1999Assignee: Insituform (Netherlands) B.V.Inventors: John Tweedie, Philip M. Patent number: 5691633Abstract: An apparatus and method for determining a property of a sample, derived from a response obtained from the sample after an electrical pulse has been applied to it. Blood cells are subjected to an electrical pulse, a response is obtained using data retrieval means and a Fourier Transform is applied to the response. As the pulse applied is of very short duration (ideally a Dirac pulse) the Fourier transform yields information across a very broad bandwidth, typically several MHz, and accordingly a wide range of frequency response data is obtained. Certain cellular defects can be deduced from the transformed data. A detector is provided to detect precisely the presence of a cell as it passes through a particular region of an oriface. This is then used to trigger the pulse at a precisely controlled instant. This reduces the effect of random dispersion and can be adapted to ignore noise peaks which inevitably occur.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 1995Date of Patent: November 25, 1997Assignee: British Technology Group LimitedInventors: Ying Liu, Eric William Abel, Jill Janette Freda Belch, Richard John Tweedie
