The method includes monitoring, by a processor, a predetermined number of web pages viewed by a user; determining a likelihood that the user is interested in a related web page based on previously viewed web pages; comparing the determined likelihood against a predetermined threshold value; and preloading the related web page for viewing by the user if the determined likelihood is greater than the predetermined threshold value.
