  • Patent number: 4821908
Abstract: An onboard refueling vapor recovery system uses a primary venting line from the tank to the canister with an internal valve operated remotely from the filler pipe by the insertion of the fuel nozzle. This eliminates the need for valves and vent lines at the filler neck, giving a simpler and more compact package.

  • Patent number: 4741317
Abstract: A vapor recovery system has its purge valve opened with a time delay, following throttle opening, that allows the engine to get up to speed before vapor purging begins. However, the time delay varies, depending on how long the throttle has been closed. Therefore, if the throttle has been closed only a short time, and the engine has thus not decelerated enough that it will need as much time to get back up to speed, the delay in purging will be less.

  • Patent number: 4092754
Abstract: A hull is provided defining longitudinal upstanding opposite sides interconnected by a bottom extending between lower marginal edges of the sides and by a bow structure at their forward ends and a transom structure at their rear ends. A pair of spaced apart midship opposite side compartments are provided immediately inwardly of the sides and define a center longitudinal aisle therebetween. A helm is disposed immediately rearward of one of the compartments and the sides terminate upwardly in generally horizontal gunwales. The compartments project upwardly appreciably above the gunwales and include forward upper portions inclined forwardly and downwardly toward the gunwales. A lower walk deck extends longitudinally of the hull between the compartments and appreciably forwardly of the latter. A raised deck is provided above and below the walk deck and gunwales, respectively, and extends between the sides forward of the compartments and forward from the latter toward the bow structure.

  • Patent number: 4083320
Abstract: A hull is provided including an aft transom and upstanding freeboard sides extending forwardly from the stern and terminating in a forward bow. The hull includes bottom structure having a central keel extending horizontally forward from the transom and curving upwardly at its forward end portion to form the aforementioned forward bow. The bottom structure includes opposite side deadrise surfaces extending outwardly from the keel and the deadrise surfaces decrease in width to a forward apex defined by the forward extremities of the deadrise surfaces. The forward end portions of the deadrise surfaces curve upwardly into the lower portion of the bow and the angle of the deadrise surfaces relative to transverse horizontal lines does not increase from the transom toward the aforementioned apex. Opposite side outer bottom surfaces extend between the remote marginal portions of the deadrise surfaces and the lower marginal portions of the freeboard sides.
