Abstract: Cutting apparatus for cutting insulation including a rigid base defining an elongate slot extending from an upper surface thereof to a lower surface thereof and a handle arranged in connection with the base to enable the base to be manually placed over the insulation material. A cutting implement can be passed through the slot when the base overlies the insulation material to thereby cut the insulation material. A safe and effective way to cut insulation in a single cutting stroke and in an almost guaranteed straight line is therefore provided.
