  • Patent number: 12631737
Abstract: Disclosed herein are device, method, and computer program product embodiments for tracking the location of a device and corresponding tracked object and visually broadcasting their location. A device may transmit a signal via ultra-wideband, when moving, or Bluetooth low energy, when stationary, communication protocols to a mobile computing device. The signal can be used to triangulate the location of the device. The determined location information allows a device management system to track the location of devices and objects in a tracking environment. The device may receive instruction from the mobile computing device and/or device management system to illuminate and visually broadcast the location of the device and tracked object. The combination of the location and visual broadcast may allow a user to easily identify the device and tracked object in an environment with multiple tracked objects and location data alone may be insufficient for efficient identification.

  • Publication number: 20230267290
Abstract: Embodiments position a barcode reader, or other optical detector, to scan upright barcodes when the user hand is in the neutral position. To do this, embodiments rest the body of the ring scanner device on top of the index finger, with the palm facing inward toward the users body. Embodiments have integrated interactivity, including a touchscreen display and separate buttons that can be used to operate the optical detector and input data into an integrated computing device. The integrated computing device can run software applications on board the ring scanner device. The integrated computing device can be remotely managed. A ruggedized case is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230065441
Abstract: In an embodiment, a kiosk mounting apparatus includes a chassis, payment module, and enclosure. The chassis is configured to mount a tablet computing device. The tablet computing device includes a touch screen display and is configured to execute an interactive application. The payment module is mounted to the chassis and is configured to be communicatively coupled to the tablet computing device. The payment module is configured to detect payment data specifying an account from a user's payment device. The payment module is configured to encrypt the payment data and to communicate the encrypted payment information to the tablet computing device for processing by a payment gateway. The enclosure is mounted to the chassis and has an opening for the touch screen display. The enclosure encloses the payment module. By enclosing the payment module, the kiosk mounting apparatus encapsulates the payment module into the kiosk.

  • Publication number: 20070149325
Abstract: A fold-up die cast or injection molded divot repair tool forms a smooth exterior case for housing tees and a ball marker therein. The forked end of the tool pivots on a spring-loaded hinge with the remainder of the case which acts as a handle for the divot repair tool, so that the forked end of the divot repair tool snaps open into a working position. The flat top of the case has a stepped double recessed circular opening with two different diameter steps, one for receiving a circular ball marker, and the other for receiving a circular magnet for securing the ball marker in place. Three cylindrical spaced openings through the body of the case provide space for three golf tees to be removably inserted therein.
