    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments provide a pressure-seal cohesive and method for making and using the pressure-seal cohesive to form mailer type business forms. The disclosed pressure-seal cohesive can provide an improved cohesive sealing of the mailer forms. In particular, the pressure-seal cohesive can include at least one silane promoter admixed with at least one aqueous pressure sensitive compound formulation that contains pressure sensitive cohesive and/or adhesive compounds. The admixed silane promoter can have a concentration ranging from about 0.5% to about 2.5% weight percent of the pressure-seal cohesive to improve the compatibility of the pressure sensitive compounds, even if they are contaminated by the fuser oils (e.g., functionalized PDMS oil) during digital printing processes (e.g., on Xerox iGen3).
