  • Publication number: 20030024890
Abstract: A toothbrush holder that can hold many different styles of toothbrushes in a sanitary manner. A toothbrush holder consisting of at least one (11) V-shaped aperture comprised of (9) leads that flex to hold a toothbrush securely at the neck portion of the toothbrush. The conical shaped (9) receiving-leads angle upward slightly and have a (8) flat inner contact surface that engages with the neck portion of the toothbrush. The design is such that the toothbrush can be easily retrieved and reapplied back to the holder by contact with the handle portion of the toothbrush solely. The contoured design and high polished surface finish enables easy cleaning as well as a deterrent to bacteria. The design of the invention is such that it can be mounted to any vertical surface that accommodates the length of a toothbrush. The ability to depress the toothbrush into the aperture of the invention holds it secure from dislodgment due to vibration or accidental contact.

  • Patent number: 6149051
Abstract: A method of brazing a Ti-15 Mo-3 Nb-3 Al-0.2 Si base material includes the steps of coating a braze material onto a base material. The braze material comprises substantially only a Ti--Cu--Ni--Zr mixture, with the mixture comprising about 40 wt % Ti. In particular, the braze material may comprise 40Ti-20 Cu-20 Ni-20 Zr. A following step includes heating the braze material and then forming a braze joint between the braze and base materials. The heating step can occur from about 760 to 932.degree. C. and over 15 to 90 minutes.

  • Patent number: 5464157
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a nebulizer for use in an atomic absorption system which includes a capillary assembly having a capillary holder having an internal axial passage therethrough, a sapphire capillary tip mounted on one end of the capillary holder and the other end of the holder being connected to a sample liquid source through a capillary gland nut assembly. A venturi member is provided which has an inlet portion, a throat portion and an exiting bell shaped portion. A body assembly has one end connected to the venturi member. The capillary assembly is mounted on the body assembly for axial movement so that the capillary holder partially enters the venturi inlet portion and the capillary tip enters the venturi throat. Compressed oxidant is supplied to the venturi member in the vicinity of the capillary tip so as to suck sample liquid from the capillary tip to form a mixture of fine liquid mist and gas which is discharged through the exiting bell shaped portion.
