The film strip offers the capability of providing a color-matched or color-coordinated appearance for a vehicle body, as well as a wide variety of gloss levels.

A further aspect of the present invention relates to processes by which the weatherstrip with two dissimilar materials, separated by a barrier layer, can be manufactured.
