Abstract: A control system may include a direct-current (DC) power bus for charging (e.g., trickle charging) internal energy storage elements in control devices of the control system. For example, the control devices may be motorized window treatments configured to adjust a position of a covering material to control the amount of daylight entering a space. The system may include a DC power supply that may generate a DC voltage on the DC power bus. For example, the DC power bus may extend from the DC power supply around the perimeter of a floor of the building and may be connected to all of the motorized window treatments on the floor (e.g., in a daisy-chain configuration). Wiring the DC power bus in such a manner may dramatically reduce the installation labor and wiring costs of an installation, as well as decreasing the chance of a miswire.

Abstract: A method and composition for wax thermal mass transfer printing. A polymeric acceptor sheet for wax thermal mass transfer printing includes an image receptor layer which provides improved wax receptivity. The combination in the receptor layer of a poly(alkylvinylether) and another polymer having a higher glass transition temperature results in improved image quality by providing both good half tone images and fine line reproduction.

Abstract: An earth tillage apparatus has a hydraulically liftable, foldable carriage with sections which extend laterally from a tongue to a wide field working position and are foldable to a narrow transport or storage position. Rigid structural arms are hingedly mounted on the tongue and have free ends extending laterally a substantial distance therefrom. In a preferred embodiment, cables respectively have one end secured to the tongue and the other end secured to the wings and extend through a pulley mounted on each of the arm free ends for the purpose of positioning the point of pull a substantial distance laterally of the tongue thereby reducing the tendency for inwardly buckling the carriage. The arms are locked in their laterally extending position when the wings are in the wide field position and are selectively released to hingedly move to a second or transport position when the wings are folded.
