  • Patent number: 5863091
Abstract: A vehicle floor assembly is made up of a floor and a liner provided underneath and attached to the floor. The liner is made up of a cellulosic or unwoven polymer fabric bonding layer laminated to a polymer fabric reinforcing layer. The polymer fabric of the reinforcing layer can either be woven or unwoven. This vehicle floor assembly has an improved moisture resistance and strength over conventional floor assemblies.

  • Patent number: 5759654
Abstract: An injection molding process for making a multiple layer, plastic structure. A plastic sleeve is placed and then enclosed in a mold cavity. A flowing heated plastic is conducted into the mold cavity, radially inside the sleeve, and forced radially outward against the sleeve. The flowing plastic forces the sleeve outward and forms, with the sleeve, an integrally bonded laminated structure. The mold is opened and the plastic structure is removed, and this structure may then be reformed to form a container particularly suitable for containing beverages, foods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and chemicals.

  • Patent number: 5609383
Abstract: A liner for a vehicle is provided between the vehicle's floor and frame and protects the underside of the floor from moisture coming from underneath the vehicle. The liner also has a drainage feature which allows for liquids trapped between it and the floor to drain therethrough. The vehicle liner is made up of a pair of strips of a waterproof material disposed adjacent to each other with a gap provided between them and a third strip of a waterproof material covering the gap. The three strips effectively remove liquids from underneath the vehicle floor and yet form a moisture barrier for preventing moisture arising from underneath the vehicle from contacting with the vehicle floor.

  • Patent number: 4285426
Abstract: A redemption apparatus or system and process for accepting the return of selected types of non-refillable containers, and issuing to the customer a cash return or a coupon redeemable at a store for the face value printed thereon. In one embodiment of the invention the redemption system includes an open round carousel turntable having circumferentially separated compartments thereon in which a customer places a returned bottle or can. The returned container is placed on the carousel with a code thereon, which may be of UPC type, facing radially outwardly therefrom such that rotation of the carousel results in movement of the code past a code reader within the redemption apparatus which scans and detects the code markings.
