  • Patent number: 9110840
Abstract: An example of a base apparatus for use by a tablet computer is disclosed. The base apparatus can include a first peripheral device capable of operating according to a first wireless communication protocol; a first demultiplexer coupled to the first peripheral device; and a first wireless communication module coupled to the first demultiplexer. The first demultiplexer is to transmit signals received from the first peripheral device to the tablet computer in a wired way or transmit signals received from the first peripheral device to the first wireless communication module based on whether the tablet computer is connected to or detached from the base apparatus. The first wireless communication module is to transmit wirelessly signals received from the first demultiplexer to the tablet computer.

  • Patent number: 5156581
Abstract: A finger exercise device which allows a user to move his/her fingers against resistance while allowing the user to perform different types of finger movement, such as flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, etc. The device also provides a finger exerciser that will allow the user to exercise an individual finger or a combination of fingers and which will allow the user to select the degree of resistance placed on the finger movement. By use of a pulley system that provides for even distribution of load on active fingers, and a weight unit that provides variable resistance, finger exercise is performed by placing fingertips in finger rests located in slots and moving the fingertips outwardly or inwardly against the resistance of the weight unit.
