  • Patent number: 8478494
Abstract: An engine speed matching system for a vehicle with a manual transmission includes a sensor that senses an input shaft speed of the manual transmission during a shift. A control module receives the input shaft speed, determines an engine speed, determines a desired engine speed based on the input shaft speed and the engine speed, and adjusts the engine speed based on the desired engine speed and the input shaft speed before the shift is completed.

  • Publication number: 20130024055
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle includes an engine, a battery module, a motor, and a controller. The controller commands a target SOC of the battery module and controls the engine or the motor to charge/discharge the battery module based on the target SOC. The controller is configured to record drive information during a drive route and adjust the target SOC during the drive route based at least in part on the drive information recorded. A method includes prompting a user to select a drive route, recording drive information during the drive route, adjusting the target SOC based at least in part on the recorded drive information, and controlling the engine and/or the motor to charge/discharge the battery module during the drive route in accordance with adjusted target SOC.

  • Patent number: 7264518
Abstract: An electrical contact is provided. An embodiment of the electrical contact includes a bottom member, a pair of side walls and a tongue. The bottom member includes a first portion and a second potion and also defines a horizontal plane. The pair of sides walls extend away from the bottom member. The pair of side walls define an opening therebetween which is located above the second portion of the bottom member. The tongue extends at an angle with respect to the horizontal plane. A wire is insertable into the electrical contact from the first portion of the bottom member and a post or conductor is insertable into the opening. At least a portion of the tongue helps maintain at least a portion of the post at least partially within the electrical contact. The electrical contact may also include a fold and a stop member.
