  • Patent number: 10795709
Abstract: A method for automatically provisioning a secure data analytic environment is provided. In one or more embodiments, the method can include receiving one or more specifications regarding the data analytic environment to be created from a user, and using the specifications to automatically implement the data analytic environment on a cloud computing environment. In one or more embodiments, the created data analytic environment can be analyzed to determine if the environment is compliant with one or more computing security rules. If the environment is found to be compliant, then the provisioning scripts can be used to generate clones of the originally created analytic environment or modify the pre-existing data analytic environment without requiring the newly created or modified environment to undergo the level of security scrutiny provided when the original analytic environment was created.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 26, 2017
Date of Patent: October 6, 2020
    Assignee: The MITRE Corporation
Inventors: Gary D. Glessner, Robert A. Case, Ronald T. Sienknecht, Jr., William R. Kinkel, John W. Ferguson, Alexander H. Ethier

  • Patent number: 6291015
Abstract: A process for cutting a fiberglass panel comprises cutting the fiberglass panel with a liquid jet containing a sealant which coats and adheres to the cut edge of the panel, and thereafter curing the sealant to harden and encapsulate the edge of the panel to reduce the emanation of fiberglass dust particles therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4836622
Abstract: A display cabinet has a series of rigidly interconnected similar parallel frames, each including a standard set back from the front of the cabinet and inclining rearwardly to its top. The standards carry supports for shelves located between frames, their fronts in a plane parallel to the standards. Glass front panels, their main lower parts in front of and inclined parallel to the standards are supported closely adjacent by a transverse channel in which their bottom edges are pivotally engaged so each can be swung forwards to open position, or back to normal closed position when their upper parts, which are rearwardly curved, come to rest on a counter mounted on the frames, means being provided for releasably holding the front panels in closed position.

  • Patent number: 4517236
Abstract: A fibrous product is disclosed having a first layer of high density substantially rigid fibrous material. The first layer has a first surface and a second surface. The first layer defines an edge around the outer periphery of the first and second surfaces. A second layer of fibrous material is positioned adjacent the second surface of the first layer. The second layer is at least twice as thick as the first layer and the second layer has less than one-half the density and rigidity of the first layer. The second layer defines an edge around the outer periphery of the second layer. The edge of the second layer is substantially in alignment with the edge of the first layer. A covering of decorative fabric material is positioned at least on the first surface of the first layer and along the edges of the first and second layers.

  • Patent number: 4268210
Abstract: An unloading mechanism for fork lifts in which a plate slides over the pallet on a fork lift and pushes the goods off the pallet. The plate is moved across the pallet by two arms connecting the plate to the fork lift and operated by a hydraulic cylinder. Pivotal connection of the plate to the arms permits continuous vertical positioning of the plate during its movement forwardly to remove the goods, the rollers may be used to support the plate and arms on the pallet and to prevent damage to the pallet.
