Patent number: 12135852Abstract: A method for execution by a touch screen computing device includes obtaining a touch signal associated with a row electrode of a touch screen display that is operable to render frames of data into visible images, where the touch screen display includes rows of electrodes oriented with columns of electrodes. The method further includes spatial filtering the touch signal in a first direction of the row electrode with respect to columns of the electrodes that form intersections with the row electrode to produce first direction touch signal data. The method further includes spatial filtering the touch signal in a second direction of the row electrode with respect to the intersections to produce second direction touch signal data. The method further includes combining the first and second direction touch signal data to produce a filtered touch signal. The method further includes processing the filtered touch signal to determine touch data.Type: GrantFiled: September 5, 2023Date of Patent: November 5, 2024Assignee: SIGMASENSE, LLC.Inventors: Tyler Scott Harris, John Christopher Price, Grant Howard McGibney, Timothy W. Patent number: 12110372Abstract: The present invention is directed toward transparent films prepared from soluble aromatic copolyamides with glass transition temperatures greater than 300° C. The copolyamides, which contain pendant carboxylic groups are solution cast into films using N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP), or other polar solvents. The films are thermally cured at temperatures near the copolymer glass transition temperature. After curing, the polymer films display transmittances >80% from 400 to 750 nm, have coefficients of thermal expansion of less than 20 ppm, and are solvent resistant. The films are useful as flexible substrates for microelectronic devices.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 2021Date of Patent: October 8, 2024Assignee: Akron Polymer Systems, Inc.Inventors: Limin Sun, Frank W. Publication number: 20240263914Abstract: A holster mount for selectively mounting a handgun holster on a chosen object. The handgun holster has a sleeve sized and shaped for holding a handgun and a clip connected to the sleeve. The clip at least partially defines an opening for receiving the wearable article. The holster mount includes a housing including a receiver having opposing sidewalls spaced by a gap configured to receive the clip of the handgun holster so each of the opposing sidewalls faces the clip. A first sidewall of the opposing sidewalls includes a protrusion extending into the gap from the first sidewall. The protrusion is located in the gap to engage the opening of the handgun holster when the gap receives the clip of the handgun holster. The holster mount includes a connector having a latch moveably mounted on the housing for movement between a latched position and a released position.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 6, 2023Publication date: August 8, 2024Inventors: David S. Strager, Daniel W. Luallen, John P. Harris, Nicolas M. Creech

Patent number: 4862072Abstract: A dedicated set of four input pads or pins of an LSI chip provides access by a serial data line to macrocells or other partioned logic of the LSI for individual test. A macrocell is connected to the remainder of the logic by a pair of multiplexer/test register combinations, one at the input, and one at the output of the macrocell. In a normal operation mode, the multiplexers connect each macrocell to the next, for normal signal flow. Under control of test signals, the test registers may be selectively loaded with data from the serial data bus, and the multiplexers may be switched to apply test data from the test register to a macrocell. The output multiplexer of the macrocell routes the resulting processed test data to the output test register, so it may be read out in serial form while normal operation resumes.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 1988Date of Patent: August 29, 1989Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: John W. Harris, Jon L. Sherling, Carl N. Puschak

Patent number: 4490532Abstract: Hydrogen chloride is passed into p-xylene and acetaldehyde to form bis-1-chloroethyl ether; the latter is converted to 2-(1-chloroethyl)-1,4-dimethylbenzene by the action of sulfuric acid and hydrogen chloride. Alkali metal hydrogen sulfide in aqueous methanol or ethanol converts the 2-(1-chloroethyl)-1,4-dimethylbenzene to alpha,2,5-trimethylbenzenemethanethiol; the sodium salt of the latter reacted with 2-chloropyridine-1-oxide yields 2-[1-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)ethylthio]pyridine-1-oxide which is then oxidized with hydrogen peroxide and alkali metal tungstate or tungstic acid to form 2-[1-(2,5-dimethylphenyl)ethylsulfonyl]pyridine-1-oxide.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 1980Date of Patent: December 25, 1984Assignee: Uniroyal Ltd.Inventor: John W. Harris
