  • Publication number: 20230366499
Abstract: A pipe coupling assembly may include a male coupling component including a tubular member having a retaining ring projecting radially from, and extending around a portion of the circumference of the tubular member. A female coupling component may include a body having a bore with a first end sized to slidingly receive the first end of the tubular member. An O-ring may be at least partially received in a radial groove formed in a side wall of the bore, and may be sized to sealingly engage an exterior of the tubular member when the tubular member is received within the bore. The body may also include a retaining pad extending outwardly relative to the bore, and spaced from the first end of the bore to define a channel between a first end of the body and the retaining pad that is sized to at least partially receive the retaining ring.

  • Patent number: 9243724
Abstract: A support for a suction or ventilation hose extending upwardly through an open manhole and in a horizontal disposition from the manhole to a water pump intake or air pump including a lower horizontal support surface, a pair of laterally spaced side walls extending upwardly from the lower horizontal support surface and a generally U-shaped hose support surface extending along a curvilinear path between the side walls from a lower rear portion of the support to an elevated forward portion thereof. A depending stop is disposed rearwardly adjacent to the lower support surface. The stop defines a curvilinear abutment surface adapted to extend into an open manhole and abut a perimeter portion thereof upon the lower support surface being positioned adjacent to the manhole. A strap securement is provided for securing a portion of a hose against the hose support surface on said hose support.

  • Patent number: 8807492
Abstract: A pipe crib-block for supporting a portion of hose or pipe in an elevated disposition. The pipe crib-block comprises a body portion causing a generally flat lower support surface and an upper surface defining a generally wedge-shaped trough in a central portion thereof. A pair of engagement keys project upwardly from the upper surface on opposed sides of the trough and a pair of key receiving apertures are disposed in the lower surface of the body portion. The apertures are axially aligned with the engagement keys and configured to receive therein and cooperate with the engagement keys on a second pipe crib-block such that two or more pipe crib-blocks can be stacked in interlocked parallel or perpendicular orientations so as to define a supporting structure for the pipe or hose at variable elevations.

  • Patent number: 7334587
Abstract: An assembly for use in the collection and disposal of water and debris during the hydroblast cleaning of a heat exchanger including a containment shield having an end portion and an annular portion mounted adjacent one end of the heat exchanger such that the annular portion circumscribes the area between the end of the heat exchanger and the end portion of the shield and a flexible waterproof shroud disposed about the containment shield for collecting water and debris generated during the hydroblast cleaning and directing same to a collection location. Optionally, an energy absorbent element can be mounted adjacent said one end of the heat exchanger. A portable washing and back spray collection station is optionally positioned about the upstream end of the heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 6648281
Abstract: A portable hose bridge for use in spanning a flexible wall of a portable spillage container so as to prevent the hose or other equipment extending from the container from distorting the flexible wall of the container and impairing the environmental integrity of the container. The hose bridge includes a pair of perpendicularly disposed archways, a pair of perpendicularly disposed and differently sized saddles disposed above and extending parallel to the archways and four support legs bordering the archways for securely supporting and positioning the bridge such that one of the archways extends along and over a portion of the spillage container wall and one of the saddles extends perpendicular to and above the wall for carrying a hose or other equipment over the wall.

  • Patent number: 6258268
Abstract: A filter box of the type used for separating solid materials from liquid having an outer shell constructed of a liquid impervious material and an inner shell having perforated sides and flooring and being disposed within said outer shell and spaced therefrom so as to define a material collection area between the two shells. Upon loading liquid-laden material into the filter box through the open upper end thereof, liquid and smaller particles pass through the perforated sides and flooring of the inner shell into the collection area leaving the larger solids within the inner shell for removal. One end of the filter box defines a hinge-mounted door for providing access to the interior of the filter box for removal of the larger solids as well as access to one end of the material collection area.
