  • Patent number: 9540773
Abstract: A rail rolling apparatus and method of use, the apparatus having a back end portion with one or more apertures, a middle portion, and one or more hooks which are capable of substantially receiving the base of a railroad rail. The apertures are sized to receive one or more backhoe bucket teeth. When positioned with the railroad rail and the backhoe bucket, the method of use allows the backhoe bucket to repair or fix rolled over rail and bent rail, and further allows for positioning or lining of track via various movements of the bucket or backhoe arm.

  • Patent number: 4592177
Abstract: An upper part of a column can be pivotally lowered and raised relative to a lower part thereof for servicing of an appliance mounted thereon. However, before the column part can be lowered it must be raised through a limited vertical displacement relative to the column part. A releasable locking device is provided to hold the column part at the upper end of this displacement, and comprises configurated slots which receive a rotatable pivot shaft. Each slot has relatively wide portions and a relatively narrow portion and the shaft is so shaped that it can pass into the narrow portion (and thereby permit said limited vertical displacement of the column part) only when it occupies a predetermined angular orientation.

  • Patent number: 3973707
Abstract: A spoolless ribbon cartridge containing a length of inked ribbon which is formed into an endless loop and stuffed into the cartridge to form a plurality of random convolutions or folds of ribbon therein. The cartridge has a specially-shaped ribbon storage compartment, in the general shape of a kidney, which compartment provides for a smooth flow of ribbon therethrough and enables a greater length of ribbon to be stored therein when compared to prior art cartridges.
