Abstract: A handle for attachment to a lacrosse head, comprising, a rod having a top end adapted for coupling to a lacrosse head, a bottom end opposite the top end, a first and second grip area, wherein the first grip area is located generally at the bottom end of the rod and the second grip area is located generally at the top end of the rod. A teardrop shaped handle is located at the bottom end of the rod as the first grip area, and a smaller octagon shaped grip area is located at the top end of the rod, adapted to fit smaller hands.

Abstract: This invention relates to protecting a thumb from sports related injury. The invention provides a rubber layer under a hard cap to provide for increased frontal and dorsal thumb protection without reducing hand flexibility. The invention is a glove comprising a thumb sheath adapted to receive a thumb, a protective pad proximate the outer distal end, a cap mounted on the protective pad, and an overmould mounted between the protective pad and the cap.

Abstract: This invention relates to a protective headgear for use by wrestlers and other athletes who require protective covers for their ears during practice and contests. The headgear provides shock absorbency and protection for the ears and forehead in an easily adjustable and comfortable device that is also reversible from a first color to a second color and meets the requirements of international wrestling rules as promulgated by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA).

Abstract: The present invention provides a lightweight protective ear guard which relies on an outer air cushion created between a semi-rigid inner shell and a resilient outer shell to provide a multi-level degree of shock absorbency and protection for the ears. The wearable structures comprising a pair of ear guards connected by a plurality of adjustable strap members are provided for particular use by wrestlers to protect their ears from injury due to contact with wrestling surface and other wrestlers.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a wrestling ear guard comprising a pair of substantially identical mirror image, roughly inverted triangular shaped guards comprising a cup member formed of thin, relatively stiff, resilient sheet material having an inner concave surface and an outer convex surface, a first padded layer applied to the inner concave surface and comprising a roughly inverted triangular portion and outwardly and upwardly extending strap members integral with the triangular member at the upper top corners thereof, a second padded layer applied to the outer convex surface and comprising a roughly inverted triangular member corresponding in size to the inverted triangular portion of the first padded layer and being partially compressed over the outer surface thereof, the second layer being secured about its periphery to the first padded layer whereby the cup member is confined between the first padded layer and the second padded layer.

Abstract: The present invention provides a protective ear guard assembly for covering and protecting portions of a user's head, particularly for wrestlers. The assembly includes a pair of ear guards each consisting of a resilient semi-rigid shell having a cup shaped center section and a peripheral outer flange, a plurality of strap attachments, an outer partially compressed foam pad corresponding to the shape and size of the shell and having a plurality of raised areas, an inner foam ring corresponding substantially to the outer flange of the shell and a molded flexible outer cover substantially covering the foam pads and having openings corresponding to the raised areas of the outer foam pad whereby those raised areas protrude through the outer skin cover.
