    Abstract: An improved coupling method and device for an ocular prosthesis to a porous polyethylene implant is provided. According to the invention, a small surgical screws having a domed head is inserted into a porous plastic implant after the implant has been implanted into an enucleated orbit allowed to vascularize. The domed head projects from the anterior surface of the implant which is covered by conjunctive tissue and is received by a complementary cavity on the rear surface of the ocular prosthesis.

    Abstract: Tobacco is reclaimed from filter cigarettes by applying sufficient pressurized air to the filter end of each cigarette to eject the tobacco from the cigarettes. The method for reclaiming the tobacco involves (a) transporting a succession of filter cigarettes along a predetermined path, in a discontinuous, indexing manner, (b) temporarily engaging the filter end of each cigarette with reciprocating mouthpiece means during the pause between indexed movements and (c) applying pressurized air to each engaged cigarette via the mouthpiece means to force the tobacco from the cigarette and into a suitable collection device. Preferred apparatus is disclosed for accomplishing this method.

    Abstract: An assembly of glazed ceramic tiles for the interior walls and ceilings each tile comprising a glazed body with glazed spacing lugs on all four sides of the tile at least two of the glazed lugs on two sides extending substantially the full length of the sides and two glazed lugs on the other two sides extending substantially the full length of the sides or two shorter glazed lugs symmetrically arranged thereon one of each of the shorter lugs being longer than the other, all the glazed lugs on all the sides when assembled engaging glazed lugs on adjacent sides.
