    Abstract: A revolver is provided with two cylinders, each of which is alignable in a firing position, a storage position, or a loading position. The cylinders are carried by a crane that pivots to orient the cylinders in a selected one of the above three positions. When one cylinder is in the firing position, the other cylinder will be in the storage position. A cartridge retaining ring secures cartridges within a cylinder as the cylinder travels from the storage position to the firing position. An ejector mechanism is provided on each cylinder to expel spent cartridges from cylinder chambers. Advantageously, the two cylinders can be loaded with two different types of ammunition.

    Abstract: A novel liquid developing system is disclosed which employs a rigid member adapted so that it is resilient when employed in operating contact with another rigid member. The resilient member is normally arcuate in configuration and includes a rigid support member and a flexible arcuate surface spaced apart by a resilient member and a means for tensioning the resilient member so that the spacing tension is reduced in an amount sufficient to allow easy movement of the flexible surface with respect to the resilient member.

    Abstract: A resilient roller is described having a rigid shaft and a flexible sleeve spaced apart by a resilient member to which axial pressure is applied. The axial pressure translates through the resilient member to become outward radial pressure. The roller of the invention is sufficiently resilient across its functional surface to maintain substantial contact and a substantially uniform nip width along its line of axial tangency with a cooperating surface.
