  • Patent number: 12133999
Abstract: Systems and methods for filling and pressurizing a container with liquid suppressant and nitrogen gas. A pressurized receiving container of nitrogen gas is initially provided at a transformative pressure and liquid suppressant is subsequently added to the pressurized receiving container. The transformative gas pressure provides a sufficient amount of nitrogen to saturate the added liquid suppressant and provide an operative head space pressure within the receiving container without the need for mechanized mixing of the nitrogen and liquid suppressant solution.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 4, 2017
Date of Patent: November 5, 2024
Assignees: Tyco Building Services Products Limited, MACRON SAFETY SYSTEMS (UK) LIMITED
Inventors: Timothy Broughton, Alan Elder, John Walls
  • Patent number: 11045673
Abstract: Systems and methods for filling and pressurizing a container with liquid suppressant and nitrogen gas. A pressurized receiving container of nitrogen gas is provided at a predetermined gas pressure and liquid suppressant is added to the pressurized receiving container. The predetermined gas pressure provides a sufficient amount of nitrogen to saturate the added liquid suppressant and provide an operative head space pressure within the receiving container without the need for mechanized mixing.

  • Publication number: 20060127425
Abstract: Compositions (1) that provide a carrier (2) to covey a plurality of capsules (3) containing materials) (4) released to generate perceivable sensorial indicia discrete event occurrence and which can further provide perceivable sensorial reinforcers as incentives or disincentives to composition use coincident with such discrete events.

  • Publication number: 20060110464
Abstract: A material encapsulation and release system having a first zone (1) containing a first amount of material (2) bound by a first capsule wall (3) and, if desired, a second zone (4) containing a second amount of material (5) bound by a second capsule wall (6), each capsule wall responsive to similar or dissimilar activation means (7) to release the first amount of material (2) in the first zone (1) and the second amount of material (5) in the second zone (4).

  • Publication number: 20060058206
Abstract: Generally, compositions that provide, either individually or in combination, aqueous activated components conveyed in a non-aqueous carrier system, perceivable sensorial indicia of discrete event occurrence, or perceivable sensorial reinforcers to provide sensorial incentives or sensorial disincentives, to encourage or discourage, attainment of discrete event occurrence.

  • Publication number: 20050093371
Abstract: A safety battery disconnect system for disconnecting a vehicle battery from the electrical system of the vehicle when an impact exceeding a predetermined magnitude is detected while maintaining electrical power input from the battery to selected portions of the vehicle electrical system. The system includes a shock sensor connected to a latching switch interposed between the battery and the vehicle fused electrical input system and is preferably a unitary unit mounted on or in close proximity to the battery.
