  • Publication number: 20250142268
Abstract: A hearing device including a housing shell housing an electronics package of electronic components and having an antenna mount that supports and/or encloses an antenna protruding from the housing shell. The housing shell may further include an earpiece that is configured to be inserted into an ear canal of a user, which protrudes in a substantially opposite direction of the antenna mount. The antenna mount can be a rounded fin-shape.

  • Publication number: 20240179481
Abstract: Small meander line antenna for in-the-ear hearing device, and associated systems and methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, a hearing device includes a housing configured for insertion in an ear canal of a user; and a face plate of the housing configured to carry electronic components of the hearing device. A meander line antenna is operatively coupled to the electronic components of the hearing devices, where conductive traces of the meander line antenna are at least partially shaped as meandering folds that are configured perpendicularly with respect to a principal plane of the face plate.

  • Patent number: 11451911
Abstract: A hearing device including a shell to be worn at least in part in the ear canal and having an outer opening; a faceplate covering the outer opening of the shell and facing outwardly of the ear canal when the hearing device is worn in the ear canal; a transceiver configured to operate in an operating frequency range which is located within 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz; and a dipole antenna. The dipole antenna is integrated within the faceplate or at an outer surface of the faceplate in a manner so as to follow the contour of the outer surface of the faceplate to maximize radiation gain of the dipole antenna.
