Patent number: 11959370Abstract: A valve assembly for integration within a wellbore string disposed within a hydrocarbon-containing reservoir is provided. The valve assembly includes a valve housing having a plurality of frac ports for establishing fluid communication between a central passage and the reservoir. The valve assembly includes a bottom sleeve operatively mounted within the valve housing configured to selectively open the frac ports, and a top sleeve operatively mounted within the valve housing slidable between (i) a first position defining a first fluid pathway whereby fluid is flowable down into the central passage and into the reservoir via the frac ports, and (ii) a tracing position defining a second fluid pathway whereby fluid is flowable from the reservoir into an annulus defined between the top sleeve and the housing. The valve assembly also has a tracer compartment defined within the annulus forming part of the second fluid pathway and accommodating a tracer material.Type: GrantFiled: April 24, 2020Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignees: NCS MULTISTAGE INC., NCS MULTISTAGE, LLC., REPEAT PRECISION, LLC.Inventors: Dustin Ellis, Shan Zi, John Ravensbergen, Craig Harty, Brock Gillis, Stanley Mberia, Anna Cruse, Rio Whyte

Publication number: 20240082468Abstract: Systems and methods include a heat transfer body with opposing major surfaces formed from a thermally conductive substrate in intimate thermal interaction with an alumina exterior surface that extends across the major surfaces of the body. In an illustrative example, the heat source may be a substantially planar, silicone-based heater source (P-SBHS). The heat transfer body may be configured to thermally interact, for example, heat from a heat source proximate a first of the major surfaces to a second of the major surfaces. A temperature sensor module may be located, for example, proximate to the first major surface such that a temperature sensor thermally interacts with the first major surface. The temperature sensor module may, for example, insulate the temperature sensor from the P-SBHS.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 2, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Senthilkumar MK, George WHYTE, John STOPFORTH, Claudia ACOSTA, Marco BARRON, Anton JEYSING

Patent number: 10987587Abstract: A system and method for building and rendering in-game objects. In some embodiments, the system includes a plurality of metadata records describing available assets, wherein each metadata record comprises an asset identifier, which identifies an asset, and a property tag. In some embodiments, the system receives the metadata asset record or the asset identified by the metadata asset record from an asset interface to instruct a rendering engine to load the asset identified by the metadata asset record into a 3D environment.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 2017Date of Patent: April 27, 2021Assignee: TAKE-TWO INTERACTIVE SOFTWARE, INC.Inventors: Aaron Garbut, Klaas Schilstra, Flavius Alecu, John Whyte

Publication number: 20200232050Abstract: A flu assay system including a sample module, a microfluidic nucleic acid amplification device, and an analyzer to facilitate fully automated nested recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) on a sample delivered to the nucleic acid amplification device via the sample module. The assay includes providing a sample to a microfluidic device, and amplifying a target polynucleotide sequence in the sample. Amplifying the target polynucleotide sequence includes performing a first round of amplification on the sample to yield a first amplification product, and performing a second round of amplification on the first amplification product to yield a second amplification product. The second amplification product includes a smaller sequence completely contained within the first amplification product produced during the first round of amplification.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 3, 2017Publication date: July 23, 2020Inventors: Murray John Whyte, Niall A. Armes, Olaf Piepenburg, Catherine Jean Greenwood, Oliver Nentwich
