Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning a body of water includes a housing defining an interior passageway, with a mesh catch bag connected at the upper end of the inner passage. A power source and a submersible pump are electrically connected, and both connect to the housing. The pump draws water from the body of water, and directs it to a plurality of openings oriented on an inner surface of the housing. The openings direct water upwardly through the inner passage of the housing and through the catch bag, thereby drawing debris from beneath the housing upwardly through the housing and into the catch bag.
