  • Publication number: 20250260884
Abstract: A computer implemented method for algorithmically editing digital video content is disclosed. A video file containing source video is processed to extract metadata. Label taxonomies are applied to extracted metadata. The labelled metadata is processed to identify higher-level labels. Identified higher-level labels are stored as additional metadata associated with the video file. A clip generating algorithm applies the stored metadata for selectively editing the source video to generate a plurality of different candidate video clips. Responsive to determining a clip presentation trigger on a viewer device, a clip selection algorithm is implemented that applies engagement data and metadata for the candidate video clips to select one of the stored candidate video clips. The engagement data is representative of one or more engagement metrics recorded for at least one of the stored candidate video clips. The selected video clip is presented to one or more viewers via corresponding viewer devices.

  • Publication number: 20240391788
Abstract: A process of preparing an alkali salt solution for the production of catalysts or promoters of catalysts, the process comprising the steps of: (i) Passing a solution containing a mixture of potassium, rubidium and caesium sulfates through an evaporative crystallisation step to obtain a potassium containing salt, and a solution comprising rubidium and caesium sulfate; (ii) Further evaporative crystallisation of the liquid product of step (i) to obtain a rubidium containing salt and a solution enriched in caesium sulfate; and (iii) Mixing one or more of the obtained salts and the solution at a desired ratio to prepare the alkali salt solution.

  • Patent number: 8304252
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a regio-and stereoselective bioconversion of selected aliphatic dinitriles into corresponding cyanocarboxylic acids. More particularly, the present invention provides methods for the conversion of 2-isobutyl-succinonitrile into (S)-3 cyano-5-methylhexanoic acid, which is a useful intermediate in the synthesis of (S)-3(aminomethyl)-5-methylhexanoic acid (pregabalin). Pregabalin can be used for treating certain cerebral diseases, for example, in the treatment and prevention of seizure disorders, pain, and psychotic disorders.

  • Patent number: 6329589
Abstract: A solar panel arrangement for capturing solar energy and supplying power for use in a building. Solar cells are embedded in a window pane and generate electrical direct current that is converted, by an electrical circuit permanently attached to the pane, to an oscillating current that is fed to a ferrite core mounted to the pane. An external ferrite core is mounted in close proximity to the core, so that the oscillating current can be picked up and supplied to a building. The arrangement allows window panes to be pre-formed or manufactured with certain built-in electrical components, and, without the need for skilled labor, to be easily connected to a power circuit external of the window pane.
