Abstract: A combination lock box and electrical outlet assembly is provided which is adapted to be positioned behind a wall or panel of a building. The assembly comprises an outer sleeve having at least one open end and an upper wall, and an inner lock box which is slideably received within the outer sleeve through its open end. The lock box has front and rear ends, an outlet face plate attached to the front end, and a releasable latching mechanism for locking the lock box within the outer sleeve. The latching mechanism comprises engaging elements positioned on the lock box and sleeve. A spring for biasing the lock box outwardly from both the outer sleeve and the wall or panel when the latching mechanism is released is also included.
