  • Patent number: 12591569
Abstract: The methods and systems for improving communication distribution. In particular, the methods and systems for improving communication distribution in environments where there is both the need for end-user specific data (e.g., customized content) and/or data storage constraints. For example, in order to address the security/privacy concerns during communication distribution, the methods and systems use a novel architecture that limits the amount of data that must be stored. Specifically, the system does not require permanent storage of communications featuring end-user specific data prior to the distribution of these communications. Accordingly, the storage requirements are greatly diminished, and privacy/security concerns are avoided.

  • Publication number: 20250358556
Abstract: Systems according to the present invention generally include top, base, and side panels enclosing a plurality of speakers. A center panel divides the inner chamber into two sealed chambers. When the speakers play audio, the sound waves cause the top and base panels to flex, creating vibrations that may be felt by anyone standing or sitting on the top panel. Some embodiments of the systems may also include a chair mount, into which the spindle or post of a chair may be installed. Methods according to the present invention may comprise providing a system as described above for an enhanced audio experience and playing music through the speakers while a user is supported by the system.

  • Publication number: 20250206523
Abstract: A method for operating a lift apparatus of a refuse vehicle includes receiving a user input from an operator of the refuse vehicle indicating a desired operating speed of the lift apparatus, operating at least one of an electric motor or an electric actuator to apply a first torque on the lift apparatus, acquiring, from one or more sensors, sensor data corresponding to movement of the lift apparatus, determining, based on the first torque and the sensor data, a weight of a refuse container engaged by the lift apparatus, determining, based on the weight of the refuse container and the desired operating speed, a second torque for the at least one of the electric motor of the electric actuator, the second torque higher than the first torque, and operating the at least one of the electric motor or the electric actuator to apply the second torque on the lift apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9772434
Abstract: A coated article includes a low-E coating having an absorbing layer located over a functional layer (IR reflecting layer) and designed to cause the coating to have an increased outside reflectance (e.g., in an IG window unit) and good selectivity. In certain embodiments, the absorbing layer is metallic, or substantially metallic, and is provided directly over and contacting a lower of two IR reflecting layers. In certain example embodiments, a nitride based layer (e.g., silicon nitride or the like) may be located directly over and contacting the absorbing layer in order to reduce or prevent oxidation thereof during heat treatment (e.g., thermal tempering, heat bending, and/or heat strengthening) thereby permitting predictable coloration, high outside reflectance values, and/or good selectivity to be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20060209123
Abstract: A method for forming a high resolution reinforced polymer orifice plate with jet array for an ink jet begins by electroforming an array of cells onto a base forming a cell assembly. The base has a smooth reflective surface. The cell assembly is coated with a polymer forming a filled assembly. A photomask is applied to the filled assembly; the filled assembly is exposed to ultraviolet light; and the polymer is removed from the filled assembly forming a nozzle plate assembly. The nozzle plate assembly has nozzles respective to the array of cells electroformed onto the base. The nozzle plate assembly is heated and the base is removed from the nozzle plate assembly forming an orifice plate with a jet array. The orifice plate and the jet array are composed of the filled polymer forming a smooth surface.

  • Publication number: 20050036995
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for delivering a genetic immunogen comprising a polynucleotide capable of expressing an antigen. The polynucleotide is delivered to the host via an intravascular route resulting in delivery to extravascular cells, expression of an encoded antigen and induction of an antigen-specific immune response. The methods may be used to enhance an immune response against a cancer cell related antigen.
