  • Publication number: 20110088425
Abstract: Water evaporation with accompanying large amount of heat absorption is used in an apparatus and methods in cooling hot refrigerant in a condenser as result of work by an air conditioning compressor. A centrifugal water droplet generator and projector are designed with air flow modification of droplet travel paths for maximum even coating of condenser surfaces with thin water film for maximum evaporation efficiency. Vacuum is also used in the system for lowering of water evaporation temperature and carrying away moisture saturated air to further increase efficiency of condenser cooling.

  • Publication number: 20110089258
Abstract: A prior art sprayer includes structure modification and additions of components for controlling of spray pattern in shape and sizes to accommodate spray target profile. Changes also eliminate sparse spray droplet regions to give the target area more even spray droplet coverage. Modifications also intensify the spiral pattern of projected spray.

  • Publication number: 20110041537
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and methods employing halogen lithium chloride for dehumidification in air conditioning. More particularly, the present invention is comprised of a dehumidifier with concentrated aqueous halogen lithium chloride as desiccant and regenerator (or concentrator) of diluted desiccant for reuse. The dehumidification portion of the apparatus utilizes woven fiberglass cloth in a construction that presents a very large surface area with required characteristics to support efficient and rapid interaction between desiccant and air. The construction also allows air to move between a large number of parallel arranged corridors of woven fiberglass cloth wetted with desiccant for interaction. Evaporation of water from diluted desiccant is aided by use of vacuum to lower water evaporation temperature, and electronically controlled microwave is employed to heat only the solution for desiccant regeneration to save energy.

  • Publication number: 20110042037
Abstract: A secondary refrigerant fluid is cooled or heated in the operation of a multiple Tube-fins heat exchanger arranged in parallel for fins to conduct heat transfer with air being propelled by a multi-row bank of low profile brushless fans. Fluid is controlled to ascend the bank of tubes in unison rate for high efficiency heat transfer with air. Large temperature differential exists between air and fluid when conditioned fluid travels through the tubes for a relatively short distance. A system of components is so arranged that the fluid flow rate to every heat exchanger is preset and the “on” or “off” operation of any heat exchanger does not affect the flow rate destined for other heat exchangers. Fluid is not transported to a heat exchanger when it is not in operation saving energy. Each heat exchanger is controlled by an integrated thermostat so occupants can set the air conditioning operation individually independent of all other heat exchangers.

  • Publication number: 20090120630
Abstract: The present invention relates to a modular apparatus and methods for active heat exchange involving continuous atomization of chilled or heated fluid droplets, droplets projection, and formation of fluid film on a large surface for reciprocal two way heat transfer with circulating air. A closed, pleated, corrugated, thin-wall, heat conductive chamber (1) provides the large surface for formation of fluid film and separation between fluid and air offering short and rapid heat conductive path between fluid and air. An axial blower (11) integrated with the heat exchanger module provides re-circulation of air where the heat exchanger module (28) is situated. The modular heat exchanger (28) or multiple of which is integrated with other components such as a refrigeration unit (37), a heating element (25), and a central fluid reservoir (23) in which fluid is pre-chilled or preheated in the application of air conditioning and heating.
