  • Patent number: 7184900
Abstract: The present invention is related to a method for measuring the instantaneous value of a monophase AC voltage signal Ve, comprising the steps of: applying said voltage signal Ve to a first input of a phase comparing circuit and a reference signal to a second input of said phase comparing circuit, in said phase comparing circuit deriving from the phase difference between said reference signal and said voltage signal Ve a correction signal and outputting said correction signal, filtering said correction signal, using said filtered correction signal to adjust said reference signal, when the phase difference between said reference signal and said voltage signal Ve is cancelled, determining the instantaneous value of said voltage signal Ve.

  • Publication number: 20030117815
Abstract: The invention concerns multistage power switching electronic device for reducing undesirable harmonics amplitudes generated in said device, in particular in the form of beats, comprising at least an input filter, a rheostatic braking chopper including at least two switches and multilevel static converter including at least four switches in series. Aspects of the invention may be characterized by the oscillator being directly attached to the chopper providing a connection by their midpoint and a variable random frequency pulse generator which controls the switches of the chopper.

  • Patent number: 5991176
Abstract: A method for processing PWM waves for a voltage inverter or a voltage-controlled rectifier, including at least one pair of switches, said inverter or rectifier being controlled by a modulator and a discriminator. According to the method, two set waves corrected according to the current direction in the load or the source are applied to the discriminator. The corrected set wave for the output current has a high level to which a delay is added during transition from the high level to the low level, and the corrected set wave for the input current has a low level to which a delay is added during transition from the low level to the high level. The high level is defined by the fact that the switch connected to the most positive load is closed while the switch connected to the most negative load is open, and the low level is defined by the reverse.
