  • Publication number: 20220378015
Abstract: Feral hog feeding assemblies and devices configured to selectively meter predetermined amounts of food, toxin, birth control/sterilizing agents or any combination thereof and track and communicate the same to a peripheral device to track frequency of use thereof while concurrently reducing and/or minimizing entry of non-feral hog animals.

  • Patent number: 10034454
Abstract: A feral hog feeder assembly includes a housing having an opening therein and a door closing the opening. A hopper positioned within the housing is in communication with a receiver that retains food material from the hopper. A food release is mounted to the housing and is in communication with the hopper. The food release is movable to an open condition placing the hopper in an open position or in a closed condition placing the hopper in a closed position. The food release includes a floor pan for walking upon by an animal and which extends through the opening. A stop attached to the food release apparatus and engages the door when the food release is in the opened condition and disengages from the door when the food release is in the closed condition. A plurality of spacers on the floor pan prevents access to the housing by non-hoofed animals.

  • Patent number: 8136270
Abstract: A method and self-propelled system for digging a grave. The system includes a frame defining a frame opening positionable over a grave site and a motor connected to the frame. Wheels connected to the frame to allow for movement of the frame about a surface. A generally zero radius turn mechanism connected to the wheels allows the frame to make generally zero radius turns. An excavator is connected to the frame and is configured for operation through the frame opening to dig a grave. A hoist is attached to the frame and lowers a container within the grave. Containers are attached on each side of the frame and receive dirt excavated by the excavator. Outriggers attached to the frame stabilize the frame during operation of the hoist and the excavator. An operator's seat and controls are also attached to the frame.

  • Patent number: 5245769
Abstract: A trencher for mounting on a conventional three point hitch of a tractor. The trencher is driven from the power takeoff of the tractor and uses the hydraulic system of the tractor to operate a hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering the boom and digging chain of the trencher. A power transmission system is provided using interchangeable belts and pulleys for selectively changing drive ratios for driving the digging chain. The boom is telescoping and can be lengthened to achieve a deeper digging depth through turning of an adjustment rod. The boom is spring-loaded for absorbing shocks delivered by the chain to the boom.
