Patent number: 11967631Abstract: The present disclosure provides a power semiconductor device and a manufacturing method thereof. In order to provide a power semiconductor device with improved latch-up immunity but without increasing device power loss and costs, a hole current path in a fourth semiconductor region of a first conductivity type between a gate trench and a dummy gate trench is shortened by providing a first contact trench between two adjacent gate trenches, and providing a second contact trench between the gate trench and a dummy gate trench such that the width and depth of the second contact trench are respectively greater than those of the first contact trench. The effect of the hole current on the potential rise of the fourth semiconductor region of the first conductivity type is suppressed, thereby suppressing the latch-up effect, and enhancing the switching reliability.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 2023Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: JSAB TECHNOLOGIES (SHENZHEN) LTD.Inventors: Hao Feng, Yong Liu, Jing Deng, Johnny Kin On Sin

Patent number: 9578018Abstract: Remote sign-out of web based service sessions. As a part of remote sign-out of web based service sessions, a user authentication token is accessed that is used to establish a web based service session and this user authentication token is stored in memory of an authentication server and returned in a cookie to the device. User access and deletion of the user authentication token from memory is accommodated using a device different from that which initially established the web based service session. Upon receipt of a browser request involving the user authentication token, it is determined whether the user authentication token is stored in memory. An access denial indication is provided to a web based service that indicates that the user authentication token is not stored in memory.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2014Date of Patent: February 21, 2017Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Johnny Liu, Keith Senzel, Ye Gu

Publication number: 20110292221Abstract: Architecture that employs a “trainer” camera which uses various pieces of information about the scene being photographed in order to provide the user with options for improving the quality of the photo. The user is guided to emulate professionally or highly rated photographs of the same scene and in the process is trained by the camera to take better pictures. As cameras come equipped with sensory functions such as geolocation capabilities, compass, altimeter, and wireless connectivity such as cellular, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, the architecture assists the consumer to take higher quality photos by leveraging these new capabilities as well as the vast amount of photo data and information stored on the Internet and other locations.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 26, 2010Publication date: December 1, 2011Applicant: Micorsoft CorporationInventors: Ye Gu, Johnny Liu, Sridhar Srinivasan

Publication number: 20070136794Abstract: An authentication mechanism for use in network-based services generates an authentication token. The authentication token is provided to a client device as part of the code comprising a content page. The content page code is received and loaded by a browser application at the client device. When the content page code is received and loaded by the browser application, the authentication token is loaded by the browser as well. Upon receiving subsequent input, the browser application may send a content request to the server. The content request includes the authentication token maintained by the browser application in the content page. A server may validate the authentication token provided in the request using version information and one or more master authentication tokens.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2005Publication date: June 14, 2007Applicant: Microsoft CorporationInventors: Andy Chin, Alina Vikutan, Johnny Liu
