Abstract: Methods are provided for producing a PEGylated interleukin 11 (IL-11) by treating a recombinant IL-11 PEGylated with an equimolar to low molar excess of PEG carrying an amine-reactive group to achieve a highly pure monoconjugate preparation, which provides improved half-life in serum while having desirable therapeutic activity and presenting fewer side-effects. Most preferably, the IL-11 is an N-terminally truncated human or humanized IL-11 and has a 20 Kd or 40 Kd branched PEG moiety, Y- or comb-shaped in particular, coupled to the N-terminal amino group. Such compounds are characterized by substantially increased stability in serum and sustained biological activity while exhibiting significantly reduced plasma expansion.

The sensor inputs may include motion, rotation, or temperature measurements, among various possibilities. The sensor inputs may be used when performing beamforming tracking, antenna configuration, transmit and receive chain measurements and selection, and/or in any of various other possible operations.

Abstract: An overlay measurement recipe is checked for reliability as follows. A first pair of overlay layers (130, 150) is formed (610), and the recipe is used to obtain alignment measurements for the two layers. Then another pair of overlay layers (130, 150) is obtained (630), possibly using the same masks, but this time at least one of the layers (150) is offset from its previous position. The overlay measurement recipe is used again to obtain alignment measurements (640). The two sets of measurements are checked against the offset of the layers from their previous positions to validate the recipe. Other embodiments are also provided.
