  • Publication number: 20020144191
Abstract: There is provided a method and device for identifying failed devices in a computer by displaying messages indicative of failed devices in the computer with a single luminescent display. A BIOS memory having a plurality of memory locations containing data values representing a series of computer program instructions for testing hardware devices in the computer is provided to test the hardware devices in the computer. If the hardware device in the computer such as RAM, BIOS memory or display adapter is tested to be failed or contains error, the single luminescent display will be driven to blink ON and OFF at different frequencies to respectively indicate individual failed device in the computer.

  • Patent number: 5234219
Abstract: A picture frame target device includes a plurality of picture frames pivotally held on a base platform of a supporting frame each picture frame having a ferrous object mounted on the picture frame, and a plurality of magnets embedded in a magnet carrying plate positioned above and adjacent to the picture frames each magnet magnetically attracting a ferrous object mounted on each picture frame therein each picture frame is magnetically attached to each magnet on an upper portion of the supporting frame to pose like a floating condition on the base platform, whereby upon a shooting of an elastic band or rubber ring on each picture frame which is served as a target device, the picture frame once struck will be reciprocatively vibrated, but not turning its up side down, to enhance a player's interest and also for decorative purpose.

  • Patent number: 4997397
Abstract: An electric connecting clamp for an ignition unit of a model engine has a cell casing which is threadably coupled with a fixed clamping member at the front end thereof. The fixed clamping has a forwardly extending first clamping portion of arc-shaped cross-section. A movable clamping member is pivotally attached to the fixed clamping member. The movable clamping member has a second clamping portion of arc-shaped cross-section which has a front end to define a mouth with the front end of the first clamping portion. An inclining portion extends rearward and radially outward from the second clamping portion and is pivoted to the fixed clamping member. A conductor extends from the cell casing to a contact member provided adjacent the mouth. The contact member is biased to the mouth and the second clamping portion is biased to the first clamping portion.
