  • Publication number: 20230391237
Abstract: Various embodiments include illustrative vehicle seats, systems, vehicles, and methods for circulating airflow through a vehicle seat. An illustrative vehicle seat includes a cushion. The cushion is adapted to provide airflow therethrough. The cushion defines a primary airflow path directed to a primary outlet formed in a supporting portion of the cushion. The supporting portion of the cushion is adapted to receive direct body contact with a vehicle occupant while the vehicle occupant is seated within the vehicle seat. The cushion also defines a secondary airflow path directed to a secondary outlet formed in a non-supporting portion of the cushion.

  • Patent number: 9157573
Abstract: A magnetic holding device includes a magnetic base and an object holder. The magnetic base preferably includes a base magnet and an adhesive pad. The adhesive pad includes a mounting pad, a pressure sensitive adhesive and an adhesive label. The pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to one side of the mounting pad and the adhesive label is applied to the pressure sensitive adhesive. The other side of the mounting pad is secured to base magnet. The object holder includes an object cup, a cup magnet and a retention disc. An inner perimeter of the object cup is slightly smaller than a perimeter of the object to be retained in the inner perimeter. The cup magnet is inserted into a bottom of the object cup. The retention disc is pushed into a bottom of the object cup to retain the cup magnet.

  • Patent number: 7703577
Abstract: A door hinge lubricator includes a tube, a wicking material and at least one attachment device. At least one lubrication opening is formed through a wall of the tube. Each lubrication opening could be a hole or a slot. The wicking material is inserted into an inner perimeter of the tube. The wicking material is saturated with a lubricant, such as oil. Each end of the tube is sealed with an end plug or the like. The at least one attachment device is preferably attached substantially in-line with the at least one lubrication opening. It is preferable to place the single attachment device on each end of the tube. The door hinge lubricator is attached to one of the hinge plates, adjacent the hinge pin. Lubricant will be wicked into the joints between the opposing hinge plates. After a door hinge stops squeaking, the door hinge lubricator may be removed.

  • Patent number: 6095294
Abstract: A deadman brake (62) is provided for stopping a rotating member driven by a power source, including the flywheel (46) of an internal combustion engine (42) of a lawnmower (40). A cantilever leaf spring (94) has a root end (96) attached to an engine-mounted bracket (68), and a distal end (98) movable toward and away from the flywheel (46). A brake pad (100) is attached to the cantilever leaf spring (94) and normally engages the flywheel (46) under self-bias of the cantilever leaf spring (94). A cable system (56, 58) is coupled by a transfer member (72, 134) to the cantilever leaf spring (94) and is actuated to disengage the brake pad (100) from the flywheel (46). The transfer member (72, 134) is a double pivot (106, 126) member providing universal right hand and left hand direction actuation application.

  • Patent number: 6015032
Abstract: A drive mechanism (20, 120) includes a driving rotary member (22, 122), a driven rotary member (24, 124), and a clutch (26, 126) operatively coupled between the driving member and the driven member and responsive to rotation of the driving member to automatically engage and rotate the driven member after a given amount of rotation of the driving member. The clutch is self-actuated in response to rotation of the driving member. A brake (36, 136) has a braking condition stopping rotation of the driven member, and a released condition permitting rotation of the driven member. Axial movement of the clutch face (34, 134) from its released position to its driving position also actuates the brake from its braking condition to its released condition. The drive is bidirectional, and is particularly useful in a nutational washing machine.
