  • Publication number: 20240090928
Abstract: Certain embodiments of the invention provide plates for treating periarticular fractures or other non-full body weight bearing applications that combine polyaxial fixation with a low profile and enhanced contouring that more closely conforms to bone. Such plates can be designed to achieve buttressing effect and/or to be used in a reinforcement mode. Other features can be combined with these. Such plates can be created for use on bone sites such as on a tibia, fibula, metatarsal, calcaneous, other foot bone, humerus, radius, ulna, spinal, maxillofacial, as well as sites on other bones.

  • Patent number: 10547747
Abstract: A technology is described for configurable contact flows implemented using a contact flow service. An example method may include activating a contact flow in response to a request to establish a contact center session. The contact flow may be used to provide automated contact service communications to end users using computing resources hosted within a computing service provider environment. A starting prompt specified by the contact flow may be output using a communication channel. Input data may be received via the communication channel in response to the starting prompt. The input data may be analyzed to identify an intent identifier included in the input data and a contact flow action linked to the intent identifier may be executed.

  • Patent number: 10178600
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a call routing application. Routes are evaluated according to selection scores of call routes. The selection scores are calculated based on weighted call quality data corresponding to past calls on the call routes. A call route is selected according to an evaluation including call costs or other criteria. A call is then routed via the selected call route to the call endpoint.

  • Patent number: 10138917
Abstract: A connector system for joining panels or other components together includes male connectors and female connector recessed profiles. The male connectors are attachable to one panel or component and the female connector profiles can be formed in or attached to another panel or component. The male connector has a tapered body with dovetail side edges extending between a narrower leading end and a wider trailing end. The female connector profile has a footprint with a wider open entry section and a narrower closed anchoring section. Dovetail side walls extend between the entry and anchoring sections. The connectors are small, and multiple male and female connectors are used on joining panels. The connector system can be used in ready to assemble furniture, stud walls and other assemblies and are especially suited for use in wood based members of composite construction.

  • Publication number: 20180176374
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for providing an onboarding service within a service provider network for on-demand creation of a contact center. Information associated with an account of a user at the service provider network is utilized to begin creating the contact center. Based upon input from the user, a directory of authorized users and storage for the contact center are created using services available within the service provider network. Encryption keys are created for encrypting customer call recordings and customer phone numbers in the storage. An initial user for handling calls is specified and a call queue is created. A routing profile is created to route calls from the call queue to the initial user. Available phone numbers are provided to the user for the selection of a phone number for accessing the contact center. One this data has been specified, the contact center can be activated for use.

  • Patent number: 9384270
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system for associating user accounts with source identifiers included in communication requests received from users of those user accounts and using that information to later identify potential user accounts. For example, when a user contacts a support network, such as a call center, the source identifier (e.g., telephone number) may be identified. Once the user initiating the communication request is verified and the corresponding user account identified, the source identifier may be associated with the identified user account. By establishing and storing a relationship between the source identifier and the verified user account, if the user later again initiates a communication request that includes the same source identifier, that user's user account may be quickly identified to the agent, thereby simplifying verification.

  • Patent number: 8646843
Abstract: A connector assembly is used to connect subassemblies such as parts of a knockdown or modular sofa or similar item of furniture. The furniture item can be an upholstered item in which the multiple components are stackable into a volume that is smaller than the assembled item of furniture for shipping. The connector assembly includes a keyhole slot on a frame member in one component and a male connector assembly on a frame member in the other assembly. The male connector includes a sleeve with a cylindrical shank and an adjacent enlarged or conical portion, and the sleeve, which may be plastic, is mounted the bolt. The narrow section of the keyhole slot has a beveled surface and as the sleeve progresses into the narrow section, engagement of the conical sleeve section with the beveled slot surface tightens the two members being attached.

  • Patent number: 8574102
Abstract: A wand is formed in a hollow cylindrical configuration. The wand has inner and outer ends. A ball has a cylindrical passageway extending diametrically through the ball. An essentially inextensible cord couples the wand and the ball. In this manner a pitcher is adapted to grasp and spin the wand to pitch the ball in a circular manner. Also in this manner a batter is adapted to swing a bat in an attempt to strike the pitched ball for batting practice.
