Abstract: A batting swing aid for batting practice is provided having an arm encircling strap engaged to a planar base. The base is held against the torso of a user and provides a mount for the strap to hold an encircled arm of the user adjacent to the user's torso during a swing of the bat. The attachment of the base to the strap may be elastic to allow for movement of the arm away from the torso during a swing, or may be detachable and make an audible noise to signal deviation from optimal body positioning during a swing.
