Abstract: Space-time coding is applied to a wave transmitter, receiver, or both. In general, the space-time coding is performed by real or synthetic motion of the transmitter or receiver, with the location of energy radiation/reception varying over the symbol duration with at least one occurrence during the symbol duration of a minimum instantaneous speed greater than a quarter of the ratio of the smallest wavelength of the waves divided by the symbol duration, and with coded acceleration of the modification of location to modify the velocity over the symbol duration.
