  • Publication number: 20240255332
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for monitoring fluid flow through a conduit. A method comprises conveying a fluid in a conduit so that the fluid impinges upon an impingement within the conduit and sensing a temperature with a heated temperature sensor that is thermally coupled to the conduit to provide a heated temperature measurement. The method also includes heating the heated temperature sensor with a heater and sensing a temperature of the fluid at a location of the conduit that is thermally isolated from the heater to obtain a reference temperature measurement. An indication of a flowrate of the fluid is provided based on a temperature difference between the reference temperature measurement and the heated temperature measurement.

  • Publication number: 20160376792
Abstract: An applicator for roll roofing materials employs a frame with a support bar removably engaged on the frame. The support bar receives a roofing material roll. An application roller is supported from the frame in trailing engagement with a roofing surface. A take-up roller is supported by the frame onto which tear sheet from the roofing material roll is rolled. Wheels are attached to the frame and a drive system provides a drive pulley attached to a wheel, a driven pulley operationally attached to the take-up roller, and, a drive belt extending from the drive pulley to the driven pulley. The drive system is adapted for slippage upon the rolled tear sheet reaching a predetermined diameter.

  • Patent number: 7735593
Abstract: A power train for a vehicle includes a gearbox with an input shaft and an output shaft and is configured such that the input shaft drives the output shaft at a single speed ratio in a first direction and a single speed ratio in a second direction. The output shaft is coupleable with the front and rear vehicle axles to separately drive each axle. Further, a continuously variable transmission is connected with an engine shaft and with the gearbox input shaft such that the engine shaft drives the input shaft within a range of speed ratios from less than 1 to greater than 3. Front and rear differentials are coupled with each axle and with the output shaft and drive the axles at different speed ratios such that a base surface drives the front axle independently of the front differential when at least one rear wheel rolls upon the surface.
