Publication number: 20240255332Abstract: Systems and methods are described for monitoring fluid flow through a conduit. A method comprises conveying a fluid in a conduit so that the fluid impinges upon an impingement within the conduit and sensing a temperature with a heated temperature sensor that is thermally coupled to the conduit to provide a heated temperature measurement. The method also includes heating the heated temperature sensor with a heater and sensing a temperature of the fluid at a location of the conduit that is thermally isolated from the heater to obtain a reference temperature measurement. An indication of a flowrate of the fluid is provided based on a temperature difference between the reference temperature measurement and the heated temperature measurement.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 30, 2023Publication date: August 1, 2024Inventors: Weston Christensen, Jon Danielson

Publication number: 20160376792Abstract: An applicator for roll roofing materials employs a frame with a support bar removably engaged on the frame. The support bar receives a roofing material roll. An application roller is supported from the frame in trailing engagement with a roofing surface. A take-up roller is supported by the frame onto which tear sheet from the roofing material roll is rolled. Wheels are attached to the frame and a drive system provides a drive pulley attached to a wheel, a driven pulley operationally attached to the take-up roller, and, a drive belt extending from the drive pulley to the driven pulley. The drive system is adapted for slippage upon the rolled tear sheet reaching a predetermined diameter.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 26, 2015Publication date: December 29, 2016Inventor: Jon Danielson
