Abstract: One aspect provides a pulsed field ablation system including a bridge circuit configured to deliver bipolar and biphasic voltage pulses to a catheter. An asynchronous current monitor circuit electrically coupled the bridge circuit. An electronic processor is coupled to the bridge circuit and the asynchronous current monitor circuit. The electronic processor is configured to determine whether an abnormal pulse delivery is present in the bridge circuit and control the bridge circuit to deliver therapeutic current to the catheter when the abnormal pulse delivery is not present. The electronic processor is also configured to inhibit the bridge circuit from delivering therapeutic current to the catheter when the abnormal pulse delivery is present.

Abstract: One aspect provides a pulsed field ablation system including a bridge circuit configured to deliver bipolar and biphasic voltage pulses to a catheter. A leakage fault protection circuit is electrically coupled to the bridge circuit and includes a first comparator. An electronic processor is electrically coupled to the bridge circuit and the leakage fault protection circuit. The electronic processor is configured to determine a first offset threshold value to correct a first offset referenced at the first comparator and set a first threshold parameter of the first comparator based on the first offset threshold value and a leakage current parameter of the pulsed field ablation system. The electronic processor is also configured to determine a leakage fault when a detection parameter corresponding to the leakage fault satisfies the first threshold parameter at the first comparator.

Abstract: A medical device is configured to deliver a cardiac pacing pulse by enabling a bypass circuit to couple a cardiac pacing voltage source to a cardiac pacing output pathway that excludes a first portion of a high voltage output circuit used to deliver cardioversion/defibrillation shock pulses by the medical device and includes a second portion of the high voltage output circuit used for delivering cardioversion/defibrillation shock pulses.

Abstract: An implantable medical device includes a housing, a power source and an operational circuit that is coupled to the power source. The operational circuit includes a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal, an output circuit configured to deliver an electrical stimulation therapy through the first and second electrode terminals and a control circuit configured to evaluate an electrical parameter associated with the output circuit and to control generation of the electrical stimulation therapy responsive to a result of the evaluated parameter. Among other things, the implantable medical device may modify a parameter of the therapy delivery in response to a result of the evaluation.
