  • Publication number: 20240164791
Abstract: A battery-powered tool equipped with damping to reduce vibration, noise and heat generated by drive components and high oscillation rates of components and mating accessories mounted to those tools. Some versions of the tool may include elastomeric damping pads, rings, strips, blocks, threaded mounts or co-molded elements. • Publication number: 20230301640
Abstract: A mechanism configured for use in a medical device, to wake a medical grade battery or medical grade battery pack from an inactive state may comprise a switch, an electrical circuit activated by a trigger mechanism, a pre-programmed timing event mechanism incorporated within the circuitry of the medical device or the battery or the battery pack itself, a wireless activation mechanism, an electromagnetic field mechanism, a magnetic field mechanism or a combination thereof, wherein said battery or the battery pack had been placed in an inactive state to preserve a battery charge until on-demand power levels were needed and the battery or the battery pack is re-activated or awakened when the wake mechanism is activated by an end user. A medical device and methods of use comprising mechanisms to wake a medical grade battery or medical grade battery pack from an inactive state to an active, normal or “on” mode.

  • Patent number: 7595929
Abstract: An acousto-optic device having at least one groove on the backside improves acoustic termination of the device. The grooves can be added early in device fabrication and are compatible with batch processing, thereby avoiding the separate device handling. Grooving can be performed on the cell, before it is mounted to a batch plate. This simplifies batch plate processing by using a backside that remains parallel to the bondface.
