  • Publication number: 20240302895
Abstract: A method, computer system, and a computer program product are provided for enabling a user to obtain additional information about a content. In one embodiment, the process starts by collecting, from at least one sensor, eye gazing data relating to eye movement of the user looking at a content. User's saccade rate is calculated based collected eye gazing data. It is determined when the saccade rate falls below a first value of the viewing content of a first area and the location is flagged as a first subset. It determined when the saccade rate shifts backwards over a second subset of the content one or more times and this area is flagged as a second area. The portion of the content located between the first and second flagged areas are emphasized. Explanatory tools are provided relating to content of emphasized portion.

  • Publication number: 20230177077
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer system and a computer program product enhance user input to a conversational agent. The method includes identifying a word using a natural language processing algorithm. The word is in a query from a user to the conversational agent. The method also includes determining a set of keywords related to each of a plurality of intents associated with the conversational agent within a database. In addition, the method includes calculating a semantic similarity score between each determined set of keywords and the identified word. Lastly, the method includes displaying the identified word on a screen to the user when the identified word is not found in each determined set of keywords and when the semantic similarity score is above a threshold. The display includes a distinct indication of the identified word.

  • Publication number: 20100205523
Abstract: An embodiment of the invention provides a system for increasing accessibility of a web application to a screen reader. The system includes a screen reader connected to a web browser, wherein the web browser has a document object model (DOM). At least one web application is accessible by the web browser. At least one accessibility widget, from a widget library, is provided to modify the DOM of the web browser. The system further includes user profile information stored in the web application indicating special accessibility needs for controlling activation of the accessibility widget. A cookie is also provided for controlling activation of the accessibility widget. The accessibility widget is operable with all server platforms allowing access with a web browser.
