  • Patent number: 11922326
Abstract: Approaches are described for generating suggestions for new nodes or new relationships in a knowledge graph based on content of data assets represented by existing nodes in the knowledge graph. The knowledge graph is defined by nodes connected by edges. A method includes determining that a data asset represented by a root node of a knowledge graph has been changed, where the changed data asset is represented by a version node connected to the root node. The changed data asset is processed, including: identifying one or more candidate terms in the changed data asset, and comparing each candidate term with each of one or more existing terms from data assets of the knowledge graph other than the changed data asset to obtain (i) one or more of the candidate terms that do not correspond to any existing term or (ii) one or more candidate terms that each corresponds to a respective existing term that is not related to the version node representing the changed data asset.

  • Patent number: 11627049
Abstract: A method of authenticating a device management system of a cloud-managed network includes transmitting a first transmission signal, from an access point, to a secondary port of the device management system. The first transmission signal comprises a first request of the access point to connect to the cloud-managed network. When the access point is incompatible with the cloud-managed network, the access point receives a re-direction instruction from the device management system to redirect the access point to a predefined Internet address to provide compatibility data for the access point. The method further includes that in response to receiving the compatibility data, transmitting a second transmission signal to the secondary port that includes a second request to connect to the cloud-managed network. The method include that in response to authentication by the access point, receiving an instruction from the secondary port to connect via a primary port to the cloud-managed network.

  • Publication number: 20070294014
Abstract: An Outrigger Obstruction Detection System for an Aerial Fire Truck that will warn the driver of an impending obstruction to an outrigger prior to full extension of the outrigger. The system comprises ultrasonic sensors located at or near each outrigger assembly on the aerial fire truck, which can be programmed to detect an object within the travel range of the outrigger. In addition, a control/indicator panel is mounted in the cab of the aerial fire truck. The control/indicator panel is positioned in the cab to allow the driver physical and visual access. The control/indicator panel contains the power switch, diagram of the truck and indicator lights used to warn the driver of an obstruction. The sensors provide an electrical signal to a control/indicator panel located in the cab of the aerial fire truck to alert the driver if an object is detected. This alert allows the driver to reposition the truck to clear the obstruction, which in turn reduces the time to react to the emergency.

  • Publication number: 20070276717
Abstract: A method, system and tool are disclosed for estimating headcounts. An input and selected metric are received. The metric is selected based on a span of control. A full-time equivalent is calculated in accordance with the input and the selected metric.
